Would the same for underground heavy rail be possible to create?
SHYjohn May 7, 2020 @ 5:43am
Steam will automatically delete my old metro ped stations, so backup doesn't help.
cacamaca8  [author] May 3, 2020 @ 1:05pm
Something like...rage deleting because they were not working. I hope you have backups. I don't.

HI! @cacamaca8 Did you deleted your old metro ped stations? The old metro ped was deleted in my city :(

@cacamaca8 Omg you are the absolute best! :steamhappy:
Cannot wait to use them in my cities :D

Modified and added several stations. Now with 18U lenght for Sunset Harbor :steamhappy:
Envibe Apr 9, 2020 @ 6:24am
Hey, This is amazing! Just one question, could you add a slightly longer version? stations got longer in Sunset Harbor, so it would be useful if the station could be the new default length!
L7G | Linen Mar 16, 2020 @ 2:59pm
Never mind my previous comment, it would appear you actually did that already <3 <3 <3

THANK YOU

Big fan of your work cacamaca8! If you're really back, could you have a look at possibly fixing these stations or creating something new like this?

I love how they help with foot traffic and how much more realism they bring to the cities... These are, still, not working when placed new. This has limited my play a lot, since in old cities I can copy the working ones with moveit! and that has led to me starting no new ones :D

I'm back :)

I'm going to only use the ones marked MOM compatible, hopefully they will work
EragusTrenzalore Sep 24, 2019 @ 2:05am
Are these mods and assets still functional with the new updates to MOM and CS in September 2019?
Dr_Malle Jul 8, 2018 @ 3:57pm
I have been trying around a lot with getting these and other metro stations running.
Also had the problem that my public transport usage went down from 4k to 50, which was resolved by disabling TMPE.
I read some things about that the game code changed which could explain why suddenly paths are not working anymore even if u make a new asset now.
The metro stations here still work, however, people are basically going through the ground somewhere where the metro tracks are and ignore the pedestrian paths created in asset editor.
Also the fact that TMPE is kinda broken seems to support that they might have changed sth in game code and how cims choose the paths.

Will for now stick to the in-game provided stations and hope a later update will fix those issue

See my post from today here for a way to still create functional MetroPED stations after the last MOM update:

@cacamaca8

Those are really a great contribution and make subway stations much more realistic.

I'm currently trying to create similar objects for elevated rail stations, which do not have any stairs but connection points to pedestrian bridges on the elevated platforms. I did this by connecting the pink pedestrian connections coming from the track with a piece of invisible pedestrian path (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1213488864) in the asset editor. The ends of the invisible path can then by connected by any type of pedestrian bridge in the game. Cims are though not able to exit or enter a station. They can use it only to change trains.

Was there any trick you did when creating these stations or do you or anyone else have any advice? (As far as a saw it in the asset editor, you also connected the pink pedestrian connections with pedestrian tunnels and additionally placed a pink connection to the road, which is not connected to any other.)
Angelhearth May 27, 2018 @ 12:33pm
Having those mods included, is a gamble. Remember what happened with this expansion, and the last, and the one before that, and...

And METRO OVERHAUL MOD? That mod is known to destroy your saves, if you unsubscribe, even if you haven't used anything that should depend on it (ie just used vanilla stuff). And you don't need it for these stations, do you?
CaptainEdwinoz May 2, 2018 @ 11:30am
@sanxingpinyin Try Mercury Knuckle's comment. My citizens didn't go to the metro before, but after I tried his steps they went in masses.
Gladiator May 1, 2018 @ 9:53am
it work with out problems :steamhappy:
sanxingpinyin Apr 20, 2018 @ 1:37am
people are not use the metro...
Kyurama Apr 13, 2018 @ 3:33am
the MOM version definitely don't work, BUT, the normal ones are actually working really well with the MOM, here is how
1. if you want to edit the depths just use move it mod.
2. if you want to edit the length of the platform, just choose normal metro first and edit the length with MOM mods, and then oddly the metroped version also adjust the length.
3. unfortunately you can't bend the platform :(
CaptainEdwinoz Mar 14, 2018 @ 5:40am
@Snake, since I see you helping some people here, you can maybe help me. I set up all my lines, but the cims won't use the Metroped stations. I have a line with 2 metroped stations and 2 normal metrostations: The normal ones work fine, and the metroped stations work okey. But the lines with only metroped station won't work at all. I see a lot of citizens walking in the tunnels, but they are all white and won't use the metro.

Since I had the same issue as simo_erli that only one side of each tunnel of the double platforms stations work. I solved that with just 2 single platform stations next to each other. I don't think this the problem but just for the info.
I also use MOM, but like you said only the Not-MOM stations.

Do you know how to solve this?
Snakitch Mar 1, 2018 @ 3:50pm
@cacamaca8 It is already known for a fact that your MOM designed versions stopped working. Or to be exact, their pedestrian segments disappeared. The non MOM designed versions work with MOM but still override/ignore MOM's vehicle spawning behaviour so that vehicles will spawn at the MetroPed stations and not at allowed MOM metro depots. Manually setting the depot for lines, for instance via Transport Lines Manager, won't do any good either.

You should put this info in your collection description until you or someone else fixes this.
Snakitch Mar 1, 2018 @ 3:43pm
Let me see if i understand your issue. You cannot select a specific track & side for a line stop? If so, you should use the mod "multi track station enabler" (it's listed on this collection) and hold the shift key while placing your line stop.
simo_erli Mar 1, 2018 @ 3:10pm
@Snake thanks for the tip. Do you know how I can manage to use both sides of one track of the 2 platforms station when creating lines?

https://imgur.com/a/XrQ3Q here it seems I cannot use the other side of the track (it searches for the dead track, which has no connections)
Snakitch Feb 26, 2018 @ 5:00am
@simo_erli that's another issue. With an anarchy mod it should be no problem if you always first extend the station track ends and place the pedestrian ends afterwards. Though I think I remember that only the -14m stations have this problem, not the -22 ones.
simo_erli Feb 25, 2018 @ 12:22pm
@cacamaca8 or who can keep up the collection, do you know why connecting the pedestrian ends in the MetroPed 2 platforms II (not MOM designed) is not working?

https://imgur.com/a/zXzLr here I tried to connect after extending the metro track, but also building the pedestrian connection beforehand and then extending the metro track, destroys the pedestrian connection :(
cacamaca8  [author] Feb 23, 2018 @ 11:52pm
I don't know if they are working or not simply because I didn't play CS since July 2017...I guess.
Snakitch Feb 12, 2018 @ 9:10am
The MOM designed stations won't work anymore, but I figured out that the normal stations' length and track design can be altered (but not the depth, angle, or bend). For this first select a metro station that has this extra options pop-up, select your track design and length, and then select a MetroPed station.

@cacamaca8
Maybe it'd be helpful if people knew straight from the Collection description that the MOM designed stations are not working anymore. And if they knew about this neat workaround that I posted here.
surf2explore Feb 5, 2018 @ 3:44pm
Cool, thanks !
michaelschort Jan 23, 2018 @ 11:42am
can someone make a version for normal trains? It would be usefull to make large underground stations with train and metro tracks
Celeste Jan 18, 2018 @ 5:52pm
@cacamaca8 -- The most recent update of MOM made the platforms for modular station disappear. This is disappointing; can you update it for the new version? I'd appreciate it a lot.
Thank you!
CommanderCobra89 Jan 14, 2018 @ 8:06am
@Mercury Knuckle was the need to do your steps still required ?
Kirzv Dec 27, 2017 @ 1:31pm
help me please! how can i use it??
hash Dec 2, 2017 @ 1:31am
where is the pedestrian path?
Angelhearth Oct 16, 2017 @ 1:55am
Can you pleaaase remove the need to connect to a road? These are great stations, but not nearly as useful as they would be if you could freely move them around. I set up 3 x 2 track MOM, one crossing the others. Everything worked great, until I saw the T. These stations are not for noobs, and those of us that aren't noobs know how to use Move It! or just move them with freehand.
tonda Sep 29, 2017 @ 1:55am
Sadly it isn't. I've tried it multiple times and no. Putting Entrance into building by Move It makes entrance not working ( I don't know how to tell it better way.).
Arti Shatkovski Sep 12, 2017 @ 3:35pm
cacamaca8, I really enjoy using your great mod, THANK U, IT`S AWESOME!! But as many people here I`ve noticed that peds don`use the paths. After many hours of editing I`ve found a simple SOLUTION to make this mod easy usable by adding Advanced Buildings 0.2 mod. It`s not necessary to actually use it, but it forces your mod to work as expected.
Proof Pleaseadd it to required items list :) Also, I`m encouraged to make some custom entrances or use the most popular ones from worksop)
cacamaca8  [author] Sep 1, 2017 @ 4:10am
@skallben Well...just use anarchy or MoveIt! and place the entrance under a building :). I guess it's working
tonda Aug 30, 2017 @ 8:54am
Holy, Wow, My, I needed this since CIM 1 was released :DDD Thank you!:D
skallben Aug 15, 2017 @ 2:45am
This is cool. But exits integrated into buildings would really lift this mod even one step further.
Mercury Knuckle Jul 10, 2017 @ 11:03pm
Nevermind, I answered my own questions. My problem had nothing to do with MOM or the Mass Transit Update and everything to do with the "pink paths." My answers to 1 & 2 are "yes." If, like me, your game crashes on "exit to menu" it's because all your enabled mods and assets exceed your RAM and requires a page file or a swap partition on the hard drive. For some reason Unity has trouble unloading them. What you do is:

1) Disable ALL assets, except for the MetroPed ones.
2) Load the all the MetroPed assets in the editor (cacamaca8 says 'any', I say 'all' just to be sure)
3) Exit to Main Menu
4) Re-enable all assets and mods you wish to use
5) Start/Load your game.

Do this every session where you plan on building these stations, the ones you built in previous sessions where you followed these steps will still work.
Mercury Knuckle Jul 6, 2017 @ 1:06pm
Still not working for me and I tried evrything. I loaded it in the asset editor several times, I built, demolished and rebuilt in various combonations, and still nothing. 2 questions:

1) Do I have to load the asset editor every single session?
2) Do I have to click "Exit to Menu" from the editor and not "Exit to Desktop"?

If yes to both, that would be a problem because my game crashes if I try to "Exit to Menu."

One final question: are the MOM MetroPed stations compatable with the MOM patch ?
sayAh3 Jun 25, 2017 @ 6:27am
please add MOM patch
cacamaca8  [author] Jun 16, 2017 @ 1:27am
@Mornach I have the same problem

It's written in the assets and collection description. I have to enable More Network Stuff and enter Asset Editor before game, otherwise it does not recognize the pink paths, but it scrambles my landscaping UI. If I do not enable MNS and I do not enter Asset Editor before game, it does not recognize pink paths nd the assets are not working. So...scrambled UI it's ok :)
Mornach Jun 15, 2017 @ 11:50am
Edit: disabled everything and enabled them again, making sure only enabling those MOM compatible and now it looks normal in the UI again. Might be that I enabled a non-compatible one that caused the error...
Mornach Jun 15, 2017 @ 11:14am
Maybe not a big issue but... after adding this collection all the quays and canals has moved from "Water Structures" to "Paths"...
cacamaca8  [author] May 14, 2017 @ 1:18pm
NEW

MetroPed Entrance perpendicular V2

entrance to tunnles, link on surface between 4 squares or more. Lots of things. Something like an Improved version of first perpendicular entrance, to fill the gap behind it and work also as a surface ped connection
cacamaca8  [author] May 11, 2017 @ 8:20am
work like what? Do you want to create new ones or mine are not woring for you?

1. For new ones: probably I'll write a guide
2. For already designed by me: it's possible for you to need to subscribe to More Network Stuff and activate it. Before playing a game, open asset editor and load any asset, doesn't matter. Only after you opened asset editor start or load a game. This way is working for me, I don't know why, but without this the game doesn't load the pink paths made visible by More Network Stuff.

yeah...I do this every time. It's frustrating, also because when I exit game asset edior breaks, so I have to exit to desktop and then open again etc.
cptse1111 May 11, 2017 @ 6:00am
I love this collection so much, but I do not know how to make those things work via asset editor. Could you make a short tutrial video for us?
