Cannot wait to use them in my cities :D
THANK YOU
I love how they help with foot traffic and how much more realism they bring to the cities... These are, still, not working when placed new. This has limited my play a lot, since in old cities I can copy the working ones with moveit! and that has led to me starting no new ones :D
Also had the problem that my public transport usage went down from 4k to 50, which was resolved by disabling TMPE.
I read some things about that the game code changed which could explain why suddenly paths are not working anymore even if u make a new asset now.
The metro stations here still work, however, people are basically going through the ground somewhere where the metro tracks are and ignore the pedestrian paths created in asset editor.
Also the fact that TMPE is kinda broken seems to support that they might have changed sth in game code and how cims choose the paths.
Will for now stick to the in-game provided stations and hope a later update will fix those issue

Those are really a great contribution and make subway stations much more realistic.
I'm currently trying to create similar objects for elevated rail stations, which do not have any stairs but connection points to pedestrian bridges on the elevated platforms. I did this by connecting the pink pedestrian connections coming from the track with a piece of invisible pedestrian path (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1213488864) in the asset editor. The ends of the invisible path can then by connected by any type of pedestrian bridge in the game. Cims are though not able to exit or enter a station. They can use it only to change trains.
Was there any trick you did when creating these stations or do you or anyone else have any advice? (As far as a saw it in the asset editor, you also connected the pink pedestrian connections with pedestrian tunnels and additionally placed a pink connection to the road, which is not connected to any other.)
And METRO OVERHAUL MOD? That mod is known to destroy your saves, if you unsubscribe, even if you haven't used anything that should depend on it (ie just used vanilla stuff). And you don't need it for these stations, do you?
1. if you want to edit the depths just use move it mod.
2. if you want to edit the length of the platform, just choose normal metro first and edit the length with MOM mods, and then oddly the metroped version also adjust the length.
3. unfortunately you can't bend the platform :(
Since I had the same issue as simo_erli that only one side of each tunnel of the double platforms stations work. I solved that with just 2 single platform stations next to each other. I don't think this the problem but just for the info.
I also use MOM, but like you said only the Not-MOM stations.
Do you know how to solve this?
You should put this info in your collection description until you or someone else fixes this.
https://imgur.com/a/XrQ3Q here it seems I cannot use the other side of the track (it searches for the dead track, which has no connections)
https://imgur.com/a/zXzLr here I tried to connect after extending the metro track, but also building the pedestrian connection beforehand and then extending the metro track, destroys the pedestrian connection :(
@cacamaca8
Maybe it'd be helpful if people knew straight from the Collection description that the MOM designed stations are not working anymore. And if they knew about this neat workaround that I posted here.
Thank you!
Proof Pleaseadd it to required items list :) Also, I`m encouraged to make some custom entrances or use the most popular ones from worksop)
1) Disable ALL assets, except for the MetroPed ones.
2) Load the all the MetroPed assets in the editor (cacamaca8 says 'any', I say 'all' just to be sure)
3) Exit to Main Menu
4) Re-enable all assets and mods you wish to use
5) Start/Load your game.
Do this every session where you plan on building these stations, the ones you built in previous sessions where you followed these steps will still work.
1) Do I have to load the asset editor every single session?
2) Do I have to click "Exit to Menu" from the editor and not "Exit to Desktop"?
If yes to both, that would be a problem because my game crashes if I try to "Exit to Menu."
One final question: are the MOM MetroPed stations compatable with the MOM patch ?
It's written in the assets and collection description. I have to enable More Network Stuff and enter Asset Editor before game, otherwise it does not recognize the pink paths, but it scrambles my landscaping UI. If I do not enable MNS and I do not enter Asset Editor before game, it does not recognize pink paths nd the assets are not working. So...scrambled UI it's ok :)
MetroPed Entrance perpendicular V2
entrance to tunnles, link on surface between 4 squares or more. Lots of things. Something like an Improved version of first perpendicular entrance, to fill the gap behind it and work also as a surface ped connection
1. For new ones: probably I'll write a guide
2. For already designed by me: it's possible for you to need to subscribe to More Network Stuff and activate it. Before playing a game, open asset editor and load any asset, doesn't matter. Only after you opened asset editor start or load a game. This way is working for me, I don't know why, but without this the game doesn't load the pink paths made visible by More Network Stuff.
yeah...I do this every time. It's frustrating, also because when I exit game asset edior breaks, so I have to exit to desktop and then open again etc.
