NemesisLeon44 22. nov. 2017 kl. 8:55
I appreciate this mod but I also wanted to point out that while skyirm's "all skills advance at the same speed" philosophy makes STARTING characters all seem the same, at level 50 every character is significantly different.

I'm encountering a possible conflict where I go to the magic section and insta-ctd... I'm not sure if it is the thunderchild causing it or one of your mods fighting with thunderchild.. I'm just trying to figure out the issue... and at this time, I'm leaning toward thunderchild being the culprit... but I... am annoyed.

Glad you found the problem flame, enjoy!
flame 2 29. juni 2015 kl. 19:46
thank you sir i have found it's not a mod issue and thanks for the great mods
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 29. juni 2015 kl. 1:55
Please make sure you don't have any conflicting mods, that you ordered your load order properly, and if you're getting crashes it may be because of low memory issues from other graphical mods (e.g. hair mods) when my mods try to start the character generator. If that's the case, disable the hair mods, run my mod, make your character, re-enable your hair mods then use console command "showracemenu" to change to your desired hair.
flame 2 27. juni 2015 kl. 20:30
Syclonix one or many of your mods have prevented me from opening my game may you please fix this issue
Jayhawker 14. juni 2015 kl. 4:20

EvilFrotting 4. juni 2015 kl. 20:11

IHasBrains_ 27. maj 2015 kl. 4:48
YES, just YES!
Spawn 7. feb. 2015 kl. 7:02
unless you use the book "a new beginning"
Spawn 7. feb. 2015 kl. 7:02

Adin 12. jan. 2015 kl. 10:33

Illiyariya 16. dec. 2014 kl. 14:34

Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 16. dec. 2014 kl. 11:41
Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance Illiyariya :(
Illiyariya 16. dec. 2014 kl. 7:24
okay, now i've tried the book. i've tried uninstalling all the related mods (correctly i believe) but it did not change the fact that 4 skills are uninprovable (even using skill trainers), only way to increase them is by using the console to set skills to desired level.

i then reinstalled the mods (cause i still like them even though i have to set some skills manually) and i will probebly do another playthrough at some point and i want to have this mod for that (but will probebly be more on the look-out for buggs).

thanks for trying to help!

Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 15. dec. 2014 kl. 14:10
Yes, the book is called "A New Beginning", you can also try the uninstall option from the book, but like I said, it may or may not work because of the double menu bug.

If you don't have the book you can add it again using the console. Type 'help "A New Beginning"' note down the ItemID then type "player.additem ItemID"
Illiyariya 15. dec. 2014 kl. 4:16
hmm, didn't you have a manual disable (ingame) for this particular part of the mod, a book?. because as far as i have understood the major problem lies with that the skill increases multiplicatory depending on your starting bonuses (aka where your skills start out) and me starting with a skill level of -5 in some skills, have made them reach 0% skill growth.

so was that book for disabling dynamic skill progression, or was it for all parts of the mod? :)

thank you very much for replying so fast :)
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2014 kl. 11:45
Hi Illiyariya, yes you are right. I'm sorry you have run into the double menu bug. As I've posted before, I really don't know why it affects some users, but if some of your skills are negative or at 100 then it is definitely this bug.

You can try using the CCO Uninstaller (search for it under my workshop) to undo the changes without losing all your progress, this may or may not work properly with the double menu bug; I wasn't able to try it myself. Please make a backup save before you do this.

Alternatively, if that doesn't work you can use the console commands to manually adjust your skill levels.

If all else fails the only other option is to load a save prior to using CCO and try again. Make sure you do *not* click the "Change Race" button in CCO and that should solve the bug.
Illiyariya 14. dec. 2014 kl. 8:32
i loved the way the choosen abilities level up faster, but i noticed that some of my skills (like restoration and destruction) had a starting value of -5, seemed wierd but no biggie cause i use them quite often so they should go up sooner or later. until i just realised they do not level up at all, they do not even recieve experience. (this of course is because of how you set the skills to level up, and the bugg i encountered. it is indeed from using "change race").

I really need to be able to level up all skills, even at a slower pace. but i have alot of hours on my character now so i don't want to restart the game. is there any way of fixing this without restarting? hope you still answer check here! :)
Illiyariya 14. dec. 2014 kl. 8:32
Hi, i started playing with this mod enabled a while ago. and it seems i encountered the "double racial bonuses" (or what you called it, just read older comments). i didnt think to much about it in the start, i had a couple abilities at close-to-100, but i didnt think to much about it cause it doesnt do anything to your levels and i just put them as legendary skills dircly when they reached 100.
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 26. okt. 2014 kl. 16:22
Hi satayagraha, yes I completely recommend slowing down your overall leveling speed. I use Elys Community Uncapper (you can google it) to set my own leveling speed (about 40% slower). Unfortunately CCO cannot slow down leveling without causing issues so you'll need another mod to do it. Hope that helps.
satayagraha 26. okt. 2014 kl. 15:34
Overall level progression seems to be disproportionately fast. Just out of Bleak Falls Barrow I'm already level 8. Because I use my favoured skills a lot. I intentionally let everything that could hit me hit me on shield and armor at every opportunity and when in Riverwood I 'smithed' on just about everything.

Just wondering: Could it be done so that unfavoured skills are learned slowly instead of favoured skills being learned faster? I know it would make the game slightly harder overall, but still.

Otherwise a brilliant mod that makes character creation a greater experience. Keep up the good work.
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 27. sep. 2014 kl. 0:04
haha my dragon age pic? i think i got it as a wallpaper from ign.
Daedalus 26. sep. 2014 kl. 23:45
That pic tho @Syclonix
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 26. sep. 2014 kl. 16:15
Haha okay glad you worked it out :)
desflurane 26. sep. 2014 kl. 10:50
@Syclonix: It was actually just me forgetting how perks work. I figured it out.
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 25. sep. 2014 kl. 23:31
@Danger Zone: CCO doesn't alter the way perks work. Are you using any leveling or skill tree mods that alter your perks?
desflurane 25. sep. 2014 kl. 15:36
Quick question, how do perks work with this mod enabled? My created character started at level 35 in one-handed, but I can't choose any perks yet. I just created the character, so he's only level 1. Do I have to wait until a certain character level to get perks?
yannik.schulz 20. apr. 2014 kl. 1:54
I have all plugins of the mods in Nexus, but I don´t know what I have to do with that files, if I want to install the mods from steam in Nexuss.

Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 18. jan. 2014 kl. 21:51
@pedantic_roc, @THREATs ^^, @Master of Puppets: So glad to hear you guys are enjoying the mod. I'ts been my pleasure creating it and sharing it with you :D
pedantic_roc 18. jan. 2014 kl. 13:19
Hah! Thanks to you that "other" Dragon Born is now miraakulously dead. And me? low lvl 24 this time. So, why do I keep making new characters - LOL. It's this mod (that's why) and I'm
still Loving it, Syclonix. Thanks for your earlier reply and thanks again for sharing your work.
THREATs 11. jan. 2014 kl. 14:12
EPIC!
Swampthing 10. jan. 2014 kl. 5:07
Amazing work Syclonix! This skill progression formula makes a lot more sense and the starting attributes for the new class types are just outstanding!
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 6. jan. 2014 kl. 16:29
@onehitpoint: Correct. With this module, the increased skill progression rates correspond to the skill bonuses you receive. Racial skills, and Specialization skills both gives increased skill bonsues. So for example if you get a 5+ racial skill bonus you will also get a +5% racial skill progression rate bonus.
onehitpoint 6. jan. 2014 kl. 14:08
Greetings Syclonix, and thank you for taking the time to creating and sharing this mod with the community. Outstanding work.
Quick clarifications: Only racial skill bonuses also give increased progression rates?
What about class skills and specialization bonus? If so, by how much?
Best regards,
1hp
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 5. jan. 2014 kl. 23:14
@pedantic_roc: Yes, that's correct. You will receive a 5 to 10 skill bonus as well as 5 to 10% faster skill increase if you are using this DSP module.

@ben_retter: As long as you have CCO - Dynamic Skill Progression.esp loaded in your load order, it is working. There is no separate page for DSP. Effects are applied automatically.

@Hazz50: Yes, I actually did think long and hard about incorporating the old attributes, but finally decided against it--It would simply unbalance the game b/c Skyrim is not designed to with these other attributes in mind. Not to mention it would unbalance other mods as well bc other mods wouldn't take these attributes into consideration.
Syclonix  [ophavsmand] 5. jan. 2014 kl. 0:28
@lycanthropy_buff: This does not affect NPCs. If you want NPCs to have the same perks and abilities that you do try "ASIS" mod over at Skyrim Nexus.
pedantic_roc 15. dec. 2013 kl. 17:12
Love it. Only thing missing for me was not being able to name my Custom Class. Regardless, many thanks for sharing. Also, thanks for the base and diverse mods.

Q: Was the dynamic intended to add a 5 or 10 skill bonus as well as 5 to 10% faster increase? The reason I ask is that I started with 35 One-Handed. I am NOT complaining. :-)
Milo 14. dec. 2013 kl. 0:56
Great mod, however, I don't get the Dynamic Skill Progression page when I start a new character. Does that mean it's not working? Is there a load order for all the CCO mods, I also have your random alternate start mod loaded aswell.
Hazz50 5. dec. 2013 kl. 8:00
Awesome Mod. You did a really good job.
Have you thought about incorporating a mod or creating a mod like Third Era Attributes for Skyrim (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13968/?) . I think bringing back all the attributes would make your mod the complete old school RPG experience.
IronSheep 2. nov. 2013 kl. 23:16
epic mod dude, good job, u shud make imperials good at block and heavy and 2 handed and then stupid at everything that requires a bit of brain power
