I felt really clever for recolouring trees to look like veins, and it took a fair bit of fiddling to get the platforms to be both thematic and not too difficult to navigate.

I wonder if I should remove the little red and bile-colorued leaves though.

I really like this kind of original ideas, especially if they use liquid pools, and aren't symmetrical.
It's a bit harder to make good not-symmetrical map, than just make half of map, and then make a mirror copy

It's not supposed to be anything in particular, but I agree that it looks more like a liver than anything else I can think of.
The original plan wan to have 3 rooms that would be either like organs that are connected, seperate, and close together. I also considered call it the belly of a whale or something like that.

Actually, shit, I might be wrong about the being able to have 4 guests use the same laptop part, I'm not sure.

Also, if you're going to play 8-players you might be interested in this http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=807225980 collection of custom stages. I think it's about a 50/50 split of normal stages remade for 8 people and some original stages.
I even have a few stages in there.

Just so you know, you can only edit the first 4 player slots in 8-player. Meaning that the last 4 will always be open, and that not only can you not close them but you also can't have any slots other than the first 4 be local players.

Not a clue, sorry. If I had to guess, I'd say it has something to do with how what hat you're wearing decides what team you're on.

When you see the eight player start menu when you walk to the hat section when picking a hat theres a few hats that say player 1 or 2 or 3 or 4-8
