The Silver Surfer isn't the Silver Surfer without his Surfboard. How can i use the surfboard as a hoverboard? Or is it at least an actual hoverboard/surfboard?

is the board model a type of "hoverboard" or just like a static prop that you can link to the playermodel?

Sometimes maps can change colors but a common fix is typing "mat_specular 0" in the console, the cheat will freze the game for a few seconds, then all "shiny" textures will be gone or added depending if they were there or not.

@Raiden, It depends on the map, if it has cubemaps he will shine like silver, otherwise he will just be blue
