The problem with the 00_eng_tech.txt file currently makes the mod unusable for the 2.0 version of the game.

Having the same problem as Leonineus, because of the wholesale replacement of the 00_eng_tech.txt file it still references the spaceport techs that were removed from the game in the 2.0 update. Which of course means that the techs added to the game to replace the spaceport techs are not in said file.

Seems to cause the Spaceport starting tech which allows me to build science ships, corvettes and Starports to disappear...

Still works as far as I can tell @Tyrannus Primus Best to ignore the version warning, this mod is pretty streight forward so unless the assets for megastructures are changed in a major way by PDX it will be good to go out the gate

Keep in mind though that you must always build the RW/OBSP first before building the sphere

Could you possibly make a mini-mod that just lets you build a ring world around the same star as a dyson sphere? This mod seems to conflict with another one that lets me start building megastructures much earlier.

There a way to switch off the ringworld taking away a system's planets when you construct it? I really want to heavily fortify my home system.

one of my mods makes it where that there can be multiple stars in a system. is there a way you could make it where i can make a Dyson sphere around each one?

I'm still wating for a mod that instead of having stages for building them it is all one project with a long time & cost ... but when it is over you have a 100% upgraded Megastructor :x
This mod is pretty good though used it on a few games.

Currently it seems totally arbitrary whether or not it lets you build more than one megastructure at a time.

Sometimes it lets me queue up all of them at once, sometimes it only lets me build 2 at a time, sometimes it only lets me build one at a time. There's no rhyme or reason to it.

Fixed the issue with science nexus tiers blocking megastructure construction, but I'm not sure what you mean about ringworlds - None of the ringworld stages should block construction of other megastructures (although you can't build megastructures in orbit of a ringworld, but this is by design)

when I build Science Nexsus, I can build another same Science Nexus at the same tiem but I can't build Ring world. and when I build Ring world Sections, I can't build new Science nexuses. and when I upgrade Science Nexus tier 2 into 3, I can't build new Science nexus tier 1. Could you fix this?

Thank you, this is a very good MOD. can get a ring in the middle of the game is very help for me to face the challenges of the back ,.one thing is I'm a materialist thought, when I finish synthetic building after I can adapt to all of the planet, So I hope you can delete the ring can not build in a habitable planet restrictions, thank you.

Never mind, I managed to get it updated to save the hassle of having to re-subscribe to the mod. The spaceport problem should be resolved now.

I mean when I built a ring world and the colonial it later, I can not build a space port in the ring world colonial, it shows that there is another station, but there is not.

It seems to still be working for me, I can still build all the different megastructure types in one system. If you want to build Habitats (I assume that's what you mean by space station) and a Ring World in the same system, make sure you build the Habitats first as once the Ring World is built there won't be any planets to build a Habitat on.

When I used this MOD after 1.6 I built a ring world, but I couldn't build the space station, please fix it.

Dyson Extractor - Built around Black Holes to "mine" minerals from all the compressed stuff inside (just sayin'). Yes I know about the /starforge/ modes but still ;) Ideas! lol

I like that you can have multiple megastructures per system, but not that you can have multiple per valid location. An AI is stacking multiple Science Nexuses on the exact same planet which just looks really ugly and I'm not sure an human player would be able to actually click the different ones to upgrade them through the UI.

@Mathil First do the Ring world then the Dyson Sphere. As the Sphere Blocks Access to the Sun required to start building the ring.

It only changes the cost of the individual segments, the initial setup cost is still the same (so 40k minerals for the frame, then 17k for the segments afterwards, 30k/12.75k if you have the Master Builders perk).

Apparently, something is overwriting this mode since the cost of the dyson sphere is still 40k. I don't know what it could be since only mods that modify MS that I have are Native Preservation and Megastructures (adds new one) both of which claim not to overwrite anything.

Super mod! would it be possible to change the colour of the ringworld if you chose reptilian ships? All other structures are e.g. BLue striped (if this is Prime color) The ringworld have the default orange look in vanilla.

Yeah I wasn't planning on changing the star restrictions on dyson spheres, I think they're fine as they are.

oh and just as a last little aside i wouldnt add anything remotely involving dyson spheres and black holes, the accretion disk may be harsh but the polar particle jets are effectively massive particle cannons, i read a set of novels by an author called Neal Asher that led me onto further reading about how harsh black holes could be, any way in one of his novels a small band of ai lunatics use a portal system called a runcible to direct a small part of one of these jets out of another portal to destroy a small artificial moon, as in these jets are one of the few places matter gets up to 99 percent the speed of light.
the gamma radiation from these jets can be detected from other galaxies and if it wasnt for the distance reducing the effect it would boil a planet as in most of the surface vapourised down to the upper mantle gone.
So sure build a ring round it just dont put anything near the polar particle streams

I was referring to the comment below mine. But in reponse to you, I would guess that civilisations at this point just have sufficient technology that radiation becomes a non-issue. It is actually possible to get a ring world around a black hole in an unmodded game ( if you finish the horizon signal event chain, your home system's star can turn into a blackhole, and ring worlds remain perfectly habitable afterwards ).
