coleslaw2005 is right, if you delete items.xml in the resources folder then the mod will work
there seem to be a few problems because the characters are replacements of existing ones (jake starts with maggy's pill, dave starts with cain's paper clip) but the game opened!

If the installation path contains Chinese, the game cannot be started after the subscription to Mod.

Mod is currently appearing to be abandoned. In order to fix the problem of crashing on launch:
-Unsubscribe from Mod
-Navigate to: My computer > Documents > My Games > Binding of Isaac Afterbirth + Mods
-Delete the homestuck mod folder

Problem should be fixed!

For some reason everything works except none of the characters use the items, instead the ones the original characters had (I.E jake not having 20/20 and instead having the yum heart) is there anyway to fix this because this mod is so cool :0

And exiting Devil Rooms causes the game to crash. At least, it does with Dave.
