Seems like the unit cap is bugged...atm i have like 10 of them in one army with only 1 tavern build in my whole faction.

Indeed there are new spells in WH2 that could match, but I have other plans I want to wrap up first, so if I ever tackle this project again, it will not be any soon. Sorry. You could try making a request in the Workshop discussion of WH2 board.

What about implementing one in Warhammer 2? I thought I saw some ice spells cast by Dark Elves.
Otherwise giving the hero two spells like Curse of the Midnight Wind and Wind Blast should work with her as well if she had a balanced melee fighter stats.

Hi there! I owe you an apology as I never delivered and left you with empty promises.

The truth is I encountered unexpected issues and complicated data tables when I tried to transfer the Cryomancer from paper to reality. It is a pain to mod this game, especially when it comes to creating custom abilities and powers like ice magic, so eventually I gave up and returned to simpler mods and ideas :(

I'm playing Empire. It's kinda weird, in an older version they had Wood Elf Unit voices and worked fine. Now they have no voice, or maybe they do and I just can't hear it...

@Chapter Serf I've noticed that too and trying to find ways to counter it, but nothing until now. The problem is that the game lets you give them only one "type of voice" i.e. Wood Elf, Empire, Dwarf etc. I've set all my heroes to the Empire voice, so when you select them for another faction, the sounds seems to break in-battle... I'll roll out an update soon.

Updated for Norsca patch.

- The units are now called Elf Adventurer and Elf Adventurer (female) instead of just "Elf"
- Leadership increased by +5
- Fast Shooter ability fixed to show Reload Skill +30, which is far better than the previous +400%
- Now the units are available in the campaign to the Dwarfs (tavern level 2) and the Wood Elves (major outpost). I tried to make them so only Clan Angrund can recruit them, but couldn't achieve it. It only works in Custom Battles.

Can't wait to get hands on my long-dreamt Cryomancer... Would it be possible to add the hero to Wood Elves and other factions as well, except for disallowing the AI to recruit her?
Also, wouldn't mind if you make her look like some black and blue MK ninja, though I'm prepared to try and work on the textures myself if you've decided on a more lore-friendly appearance.

@Nightscales Hi! I haven't started work as I'm waiting for the Norsca patch which will most likely break all mods on the workshop and force us to update/fix them.

I can give some spells to my heroes, yes. Also the upcoming abilities like Frostbite could be used on a Cryomancer.

Any updates on the cryomancer adventurer?
I've had a look on the spell lores and the only promising one seems to be lore of heavens with wind blast and curse of the midnight wind (or smth) for instance. Can your potential adventurers use spells such as these or are they restricted to lords/heroes?

@Ahri the awoo No worries, I always try to help people when it comes to mods, especially if they are my subscribers :P I just fired up Dry's Reskin together with my mod and it definitely works, no crashes at all.

I re-subbed to base improvement but for some reason it shows a yellow triangle on it like there is some problem, but still the game launches with it and my mod only.

So, my guess is you have a mod conflict with other mods or you need to delete and re-sub to the mods or verify the game's cache. Can't think of any other solution right now :/

@Ahri the awoo Oh ok, sorry then. Still, I opened both of them with the mod software (pfm) and I couldn't find any files with same name as the ones in my mod, which means there is no conflict between them. Maybe you can provide pics of what exactly makes them incompatbile in your game? Thanks.

I downloaded dry's welf reskin and base improvement.pack and none of them conflicts with my mod. All my textures and models are uniquely named and only used by my units.

However, I am 99,9% sure that these 2 mods are not compatible with each other. They both reskin the Wood Elf faction and they overwrite the vanilla files, so they are bound to be incompatible.

TL;DR Use either Dry's Reskin or base improvement. Not both together. Each of them is compatible with my mod.

@Ahri Thank you for your kind words! More heroes are on the way :) This mod doesn't mess with the vanilla units at all.Only my units have custom textures. What mod did you find incompatibility with mine?

Yeah I'm probably in the minority there as far a hero 'group'. But I really appreciate these 'adventuring party' units and would love to see more of the classics. Everytime I play bretonnia or empire I have at least one of each unit in my main army.

@Lumiere Thanks! Interesting idea, but I believe it cannot be implemented fully. At best I could have 2 different races in one unit (the one marked as an officer). Like Crynsos did with Gotrek and Felix.
