Doesn't work anymore. Anytime a Heavy Fighter (and I'm assuming Light, though only checked Heavy) is destroyed, you cannot select the fleet that it had came from or else it'll crash your game. This is 3.10, so this mod is officially depreciated. It was fun while it lasted.

It is compatible. After selecting the type of craft it didnt show for me at first. either. I then selected a module that asks if you want it to be a fighter or bomber. After that selection i was free to equip weapons onto them.

it's appear to not be compatible with (Stellaris 3.1 lem) can't add weapons to ship design.

Yep, should be compatible with any shipset that has a fighter or bomber model as it literally just steals those models and turns them into ship classes.

3) Как идея добавить к строящимся тяжелым (самостоятельным) истребителям еще и легкие истребители в виде улучшений для космопорта? А то, как мне кажется, авиацию разработчики обошли вниманием совершенно несправедливо.

Но можно несколько предложений?
1) Может быть стоит снизить цену в очках флота производимым истребителям до 0, снизить стоимость содержания (не обязательно) и отобрать у них сверхсветовые двигатели? Оставить их чисто средствами обороны. А то именно таких средств в игре очень нехватает.
2) Очень бы хотелось к имеющемуся многоцелевому истребителю получить корпус специализированного истребителя-перехватчика - заменить место для легкого оружия на место для ПВО.

It works fine with 1.6.

Actual effectiveness can be called into question, though. The scaling costs mean that Fighters have to devote all their Utility slots to Power to keep up with advancing tech(Engines, Sensors) and good weapons. Bombers have a little more leeway, and can generally mount a single shield, thanks to them having an extra Utility slot. Seriously considering messing with the mod files so 'Ship-Mounted Power Stations' can work with this.

They also basically can't be used much early, since early fleets are of course all Corvettes, and Corvettes/Small guns shred Fighters(Evasion-60 Tracking leaves them with only 30% of their 90 Base. Bad odds when 2 or 3 hits will kill you.) and Bombers(As Fighters, only they're left with 10% evasion) alike. So will most Destroyers.

Yea i did see that. However more so talking about event caused by ship component rather than ship type.

Since right now we have all of these awesome fighters we can design, however, ships like carriers from nsc or hangar slot ship sections are less attractive, since well be forced to use fighters we dont want on said ships.
