I love this mod. it makes the character look so much better.
Will you be bringing this to skyrim remastered? It would be a shame to have to go back to the old appearance.

how to remove the cloak?

Would it be possible at all to make it so that this model only replaces the vanilla with the Royal Vampire Armor equipped?

Why not in the construction kit load up Dawnguard and your mod, look for the vampire transformation script and add that player.equipitem command to that script?

what is the code for lord harkons robes?... i want them so bad

I think it's awesome, assumed you would get harkons armor in VL form once the main quests/side quests were complete but of course you didn't. Would be great with the cape and really hope you manage to add it in the near future, but very well done so far.

I HAVE FIGURED OUT AN EASY WAY TO EQUIP THE CAPE. Simply open the console, click on your character, and type 'showinventory'

once you've done that, it will show you the item code for the cape and you can equip it using the 'player.equipitem' cheat.

Please try to fix the cape, or delete that red spot on the back if it is easier.

I just complained about nobody making this, now i have seen it and i feel like an idiot, Good job, the cape is fine, i just wanted the crown and chest peice.

I thought this happens anyway? when i killed harkon on the xbox version i automatically got the harkon form

dide i dont know why but when i equipe the cape it doesnt appear when i transform... please make the mod complete or help me equipe the cape... it looks awsome if the wole set is there

this makes sense considering you kill harkon and become the leader of the vampires so now you get his royal armour kinda thing

@wong.kaname i think ive had the same problem. might be a conflict with one of ur mods. if u have any that unequip ur armor before u use the mod like magic duel, for example, the mod changes the vampire lords appearance.

hey so if you want to make it autoequip what u need to do is combine the cape with the vl and use that as a skin in place of the vl

after testing some more i think the issue with vampires attacking you when turning into vampire lord form in the castle may be a base game glitch...i recently changed in there without this mod and was attacked as well.

@ wrtip: i had this same issue, but they only seem to attack when you transform in the castle for some reason. If you transform outside and then go in they dont attack. The one is the vampire smith and the other one is in the same room, shes always training with the dummies. @ DanAC, i tried figuring the cape thing out myself but didnt have much luck. If i had some insight on how you set it up i might be able to figure it out. Did you an outfit? i seen a Harkon Outfit which included the cape, while poking around the creation kit. I seen you set the cape to playable, any way if you want some help just let me know.

I think I found a bug, I transform in Castle vulkihar and 2 vamps attacked me nd the rest helped me kill the I forget the names but other than that good mod.

I don't really need the cape :D

Well then anyone else going to take over because i cant really enjoy this without the cape it just doesnt feel right

@kinglolo Your suggestion about the cape equipping was very helpful in that it allowed me to find the particular script which governed player VL Armor equip. The two hours after reading your post, I managed to learn the basics of .bsa unpacking, .pex decompiling, and .dpex reading. However, I'm afraid my sparce modding experience fails me there. I gave it a shot, but I just don't think it's going to happen while I'm the author.

If a better modder than I can succesfully edit the necessary scripts to auto-attach the cape, you have my permission to publish your work if my mod is also used

This mod looks very promising though I would like to see a couple things worked out

- I don't have to add the cape with the console
- and have your vampire lord look like this after you kill harkon/complete the quest Kindred Judgment.
