@PsychoticSoul I'm glad you enjoy the map! The modders that put all the maps together did a fantastic job.

Awesome map, just played it as Tilea in Campaign.

Oh, and that hill with the waterfall and statue is an absolute godsend when defending against the multiple Bjornling stacks that land at Luccini.

@Sylindr Thanks man! I'm glad you enjoy it! I should do a BP campaign, with some good mods I'm sure it is a grand old time.

@patrickfinzi It is now in two Campaign Map Packs. Take a look in the description :)
Goberin Sreya Mar 1, 2017 @ 12:33pm
Cool. let us know.
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Mar 1, 2017 @ 7:12am
@patrickfinzi Right now it does not, but I will be looking into adding it soon.
Goberin Sreya Feb 28, 2017 @ 11:59pm
does it work for campaign?
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 21, 2017 @ 11:42am
@katchinska This is obviously my own take, but I do think it makes a decent amount of logical sense..

That said, I did use some Empire elements on the map as well, and I think Tilea could have a nice mix of both.

I hope that helped and look forward to seeing your Tobaro rendition
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 21, 2017 @ 11:42am
@katchinska Yeah, it's a good question.. So my main reason for doing it was because of real world cultures and influences. Tilea is like the Italy equivalent, Bretonnia is obviously France. The Roman empire had huge influence in France and Spain, this is also seen in the naming of the "Romantic" languages. Obviously not named because it sounds sexy, though some argue haha, but after their Roman influence. Now applying this to Warhammer, Tilea and Bretonnia was first settled by the elves, so much of their architecture is taken from them. However, the Empire was much more inspired by Dwarven culture and architecture. Also The Empire is more of a German base from our world, and the Germanic languages are distinctly different from the Roman. This harkens back to the fact that the Roman empire had a hard time spreading their influence into the Germanic tribes in the day. Thus the culture was maintained.

What made you choose bretonnia architecture over empire. I couldnt find anything that stated they were one or the other? I ask because I am working on Tobaro and the best I could find was that they have empire units in game at the start of a campaign. So I plan on using Empire Architecture.

@[*UNITY*]_ james It is not implemented into the Campaign yet. I haven't looked into doing that yet, CA has talked a little bit about the ability to do that, but I think only a few modders have done it thus far. I'll try to get around to figuring that out.

Hopefully soon someone will try to release a collection of all the good maps so far and get them all into Campaign. That would be soo great

If you were to fight in Luccini in the campaign map would this map show up? Or it only works for custom and multiplayer battles?
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 18, 2017 @ 12:36pm
@MRFlack The only other Tilean city in TW:Warhammer is Miragliano. I could try to do that city.. A few things make me hesitant. It is also a port city, much like Luccini. In the lore it is on a plain with no major landmarks.. making it fairly plain, pun intended. It also has a significant Skaven influence, and currently there are few to no tools to make that presence felt. Also, given Tilea isn't even a playable faction in campaign, I think my efforts would go fairly unnoticed sadly.

I'm thinking about doing Marienburg or Praag as my next project.. but I might take a bit of time to see if there is a want for that from the masses.
MRFlackAttack Feb 17, 2017 @ 7:53pm
@Uric Lothbrok Yeah, more hills would be great! I'd love to see the hight of the city vary and gradually rise to the Acropolis. This is a great map, are you planning to try your hand at any of the other cities of Tilea?
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 17, 2017 @ 9:11am
@johna Yeah it is a great battle! I actually played in that one with Indypride. It was awesome to have Tilea and the Border Princes actually fighting on their home turf. I hope you enjoyed the video and get to play around on the map too! :D

If you haven't yet seen it, this video showcases your map and Cataph's mod perfectly:

@Cataph I aim to please ;)

@Uric Lothbrok
Praises be upon him!
Btw, that starfort bastion shape on the minimap just gave me a poliorcetical boner.
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 15, 2017 @ 8:52pm
@Cataph Gork's work is done :D
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 15, 2017 @ 7:55am
@MRFlack That would definitely look awsome! The only thing with that is it would make the hill unplayable. Right now it acts as a nice last holding ground for the map. But I'll play around with raising it up a bit onto a hill. I think that would look cool.
MRFlackAttack Feb 15, 2017 @ 4:01am
If you could get that temple to be atop the acropolis in the centre of the city, that would look fantastic.
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 15, 2017 @ 12:22am
@Cataph I saw it after I posted it. Leopard Company with temple in the back to come ;)
Cataph Feb 15, 2017 @ 12:07am
@Uric Lothbrok
Curious that you would say that.

@Cataph I just realized you make a bunch of the great mods haha. First off, thank you!! Secondly, if you make a Leopold's Company mod, I will for sure take pictures with them in it.
Cataph Feb 14, 2017 @ 9:21am
Well, there may be no leopardy props, but you're not doing Gork's work if you don't take screenshots of the finished Temple with Leopold's company in front of it.
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 14, 2017 @ 9:07am
@Cataph Yeah no definite Italian style, but I try to find a happy median that makes it have an Italian vibe. And although there is lacking elven props as well, I'll try to add more of that history and influence in as well to inspire the Tilean way.

I will definitely do some research on the Temple of Luccini and try to come up with an affective means to implement it! Thanks for the idea!!

Also would of been nice if there were Leopard skins to add in ;)
Uric Lothbrok  [author] Feb 14, 2017 @ 9:00am
@SirPegaMenis Unfortunately Italian style elements in the game are limited, but I will try to bring more of an Italian feel to the map. I do think that is a great idea.
Cataph Feb 14, 2017 @ 2:30am
I would be suprised very much if there were buildings with an acceptable italian style. I suppose that a combination of certain imperial houses is what can be done.

However, bretonnian-style towers are pretty spot-on. Both Bretonnia and Tilea come from a high-elven 'heritage', whereas the Empire was more Dwarf-inspired, as areas of influence go.

Btw, is there anything classical-looking to replicate the famous temple of Luccini?
MelkorMankind Feb 14, 2017 @ 1:24am
looks not very italian
