Also I play the updated tabletop version often and I've never seen these other cards next to the spam, haywire is supposed to be the only other card type from damage....
Garbageman May 3, 2024 @ 11:03am
Only the green player's figurine will upload. Fix for this?
OmniaCadunt Apr 15, 2023 @ 8:36am
There are still errors loading this mod. Is there a possibility to fix this (correct the links or re-upload this mod)? Thanks in advance!
CoralSunset Aug 16, 2022 @ 10:10am
Cool, thanks!
I also found an easy way to "fix" the yellow player deck visibility issue. Here's the link if you want to incorporate it into the mod:

I will fix this soon. Sorry to not see the original comment on missing boards.
CoralSunset Aug 8, 2022 @ 4:33pm
Looks like all the image links are dead now. I was able to reupload them to steam from my local cache, but I only had boards 5A and 1A and Checkpoints 1-3 in the cache. So if anyone's got images for the remaining boards and checkpoints and could upload them somewhere that would be awesome.
Anbu May 29, 2021 @ 8:25am
Very well done! Starting board B is btw still missing but good work.:steamhappy:
Tritano Mar 18, 2021 @ 10:26am
Could it be that the pastebin URLs are wrong? They are all http://pastebin.com/something but should be http://pastebin.com/raw/something .
DRaines  [author] Jan 10, 2021 @ 9:55pm
I will look into the missing board.
Zifferony Jan 10, 2021 @ 3:39pm
I couldn’t find it either. As I own a physical copy I would upload it my self if I could. Sadly I am using cloud gaming service and therefor I can’t contribute :(
PeteCrighton Jan 3, 2021 @ 6:50am
Am I just not seeing it, or is the start board B missing?
Unreal Ed Jul 18, 2020 @ 3:13pm
Changing the lighting made yellow cards a lot more visible to me, so I recommend doing that
DRaines  [author] Jul 18, 2020 @ 12:20pm
@Unreal Ed : I will commit to getting done the things that I can this weekend and submitting the update on Sunday night. The least likely part to get finished is the Yellow cards, but I will see what I can do. I am glad someone is using the mod!
Unreal Ed Jul 17, 2020 @ 7:07pm
Any ETA for that update?
Unreal Ed Jul 9, 2020 @ 10:52pm
Found out the yellow cards are actually super hard to read because of the lighting, mostly. Tho if you could change the cards themselves for more contrast, that could be good.

You should also make every player's deck use 1 deck image (that's a JPG), without repeating the cards, and then you just copy/paste the cards themselves to assemble the right number of cards in each player deck.

Also, those scripting changes you talked about 2 years ago would be nice.
DRaines  [author] Jul 9, 2020 @ 9:05pm
@Unreal Ed: Good suggestions. I haven't updated this one for a bit. I will do so shortly. The file size will be a major part of the update. Thanks!
Unreal Ed Jul 9, 2020 @ 4:21pm
Also, the yellow cards are basically unreadable and NEED to be updated to have more contrast because the yellow is totally overblown and makes the white of the arrows undetectable
Unreal Ed Jul 9, 2020 @ 4:19pm
You REALLY should consider making the boards JPGs instead of 3000 x 3000 PNGs AND uploading them to Steam Cloud with the built-in cloud manager. I have a super fast fiber connection and it took me longer to download the 19MB of one board than it takes me to download a full 2GB game on Steam.
A Mighty Duck Oct 28, 2019 @ 2:35am
Hey it looks cool but is there a way to change the board type?
Snorkel Jul 13, 2018 @ 4:07am
I updated my workshop thingy - fixed an error on Lazer Maze, and added 2 even older boards with crushers.
Sorry for delaying your update!
DRaines  [author] Jul 1, 2018 @ 8:21am
@Sandvich Toaster: Those look pretty good. I will pull in the boards to the new edition. I doubt I will get any of them included in the scripted setups, but they will be available at least. Thanks for the help. All of this is going to cause me to be a day or two later with the update. I am now targeting mid-week.
Snorkel Jun 30, 2018 @ 11:56pm
I made those 3 fixed boards at that link a little tidier. I also made a workshop item with all the classic boards reskinned for 2016 edition https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1427804560 I guess you probably won't want to include 12x12 boards in your update, but you're welcome to if you do want.
DRaines  [author] Jun 29, 2018 @ 12:05am
@Sandvich Toaster: Thanks. I will take a look.
Snorkel Jun 28, 2018 @ 9:46pm
Something you might want to include in update - 3 of the boards have misprints ( https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1741338/map-board-misprints ) I made a quick and lazy repair of each of them https://drive.google.com/open?id=1a9NqzI6-AO1W0EXZ9iRRC48quP9nvGLK which is probably good enough for the resolution.
Snorkel Jun 27, 2018 @ 1:42am
Oooh super!
DRaines  [author] Jun 26, 2018 @ 10:49pm
@Sandvich Toaster: I have an update coming shortly that will add scripting. The primary reason for the scripting is to set up each of the various board arrangements from the manual. That is the hardest part of the game is getting a new layout put together. So I automated it. It should be ready within the week.
Snorkel Jun 26, 2018 @ 10:41pm
Can you add the other starting board as an option?
DRaines  [author] Feb 22, 2018 @ 10:47pm
Give it a try. I think you will like it. The storage is only for the first time you play and then any time after that if there is a change to the graphics. It is not too bad and then you can play to your heart's content. Let me know what you think.

As to the total storage space, it is not very bad at all. A few MB of graphics.
Don Julio Feb 20, 2018 @ 6:01am
(Noob Alert...) I'd love to give this a try. I'm new to TTS, so I have to ask: do you have to download all the graphics/assets each time you start the game? Or are they getting stored locally? And: how much is this in terms of storage space (MB/GB)? Someone posted it takes very long...
Librodeus Nov 9, 2017 @ 10:27pm
@DRaines I uploaded the Priority Antenna model as a workshop mod if you'd like to add it to your mod. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1196613034
DRaines  [author] Nov 9, 2017 @ 7:49pm
@opazed: Yes, there are some definite things to like about the new version. It is just too bad that Hasbro did not put more effort into quality components. But, TTS always has quality components!
opazed Nov 9, 2017 @ 3:27pm
Really great improvement; love the mayhem now and there is a lot more interaction between bots!

DRaines  [author] Sep 18, 2017 @ 11:06pm
@Pandoomic: Thanksfor the kind comments. I will be happy to point to the rules. I will also look into adding the digital timer. If you clean up the radar model, send it my way and I will add it to the mod. As for the load time, part of the reason is the high resolution images that I used. But I will see what I can do to make this better. Thanks for the encouragement. (By the way, I am working on a script to set up the various board configurations.)
Librodeus Sep 18, 2017 @ 9:59pm
I started looking more closely at the satelite model and it looks like it's going to be more work in order to clean it up. I already started doing it, so I'll give you the completed model when I'm done :) cheers.
Librodeus Sep 18, 2017 @ 9:34pm
Other than the hosting taking forever to load this mod is EXCELLENT. I love the quality of all of the art, I love how everything is sized, and I love the attention to detail with the little model robots and pieces. This mod plays exactly like the physical version. Great job! I'd be interested to see someone script this to have automated movement, but that would be a herculean task. Keep up the good work!
Librodeus Sep 18, 2017 @ 9:34pm
It would be nice if you hosted the images for the mod somewhere else. The game is taking literal ages to load the assets from the current hosting. This is the only major gripe I have with the mod.
The Digital Clock item in the standard tabletop simulator assets has a timer that you can use in lieu of the 30 second sand timer.
The radar dish model looks good for the most part but some of the face normals aren't pointing the correct way. If you're using blender you can fix this easily by recalculating the normals to the outside.

I also found the new rules .pdf should you want to include it: http://media.wizards.com/2017/rules/roborally_rules.pdf
The Activation Order page in that rulebook (pg 8) would be really helpful to include on the board somewhere.
func_door Mar 12, 2017 @ 4:36pm
Thanks for uploading this, but still can't find a rulebook anywhere.
DRaines  [author] Mar 2, 2017 @ 8:09am
Thanks for the feedback. I am new to development and did not put all of the files where they could be downloaded. Thus the 404s. That has been fixed. Further feedback is appreciated.
dot.dot.dot. Mar 1, 2017 @ 5:45pm
Sadly, many 404s:steamsad:
DRaines  [author] Feb 15, 2017 @ 11:25am
Good point on the rules. I will add something soon. Either a link or some in-game item. Thanks for the suggestion.
maxcito Feb 15, 2017 @ 5:56am
no rules?
DRaines  [author] Feb 12, 2017 @ 10:40am
Glad you are giving it a try.
darleth Feb 12, 2017 @ 2:48am
Thanks a lot...
