I apologize if this is a simple question but I'm not sure how to download the Salem 1692 Mod? I'm searching everywhere I can, and it says "subscribe to download" but nothing happens after I subscribe. Any help would be greatly appreciated :D
No problem! My friends and I really like this game too.
1. Unfortunately no...I'm not a scripter so I don't have the ability to make that happen :/ Best you and I can do now is just reload the game from the workshop tab to reset it.
2. For now, my friends and I have used our cursors and moved them toward the player/card they'd like to kill. Usually it's pretty unanimous. We've also had people message each other over FB messenger privately or some other messaging app.
3. Not that I know of..it's just something you'd have to be careful of for now. I'm sure that sort of thing is possible with scripting, but because the game requires players to take cards from each other, I think being sure of the card you want to take and being careful not to drag it wildly or misclick is the best way to prevent accidental card stealing.
First off, thanks for creating this, my friends and I are a big fan of this game! Some questions I have with this game...
1. After a game is over, is there an easy way to reset the game (put all cards back on the deck, shuffled, etc). My friends and I have not found an easy way to do this..
2. If there are multiple witches and it is night time, what is an easy way to determine who they would want to kill? I'm pretty sure there are many ways to do this, but would love to hear how you do it.
3. Is there anyway where we can disable players accidentally stealing cards from your deck?
Those are all I have now, but as my friends and I play, there will most likely be more questions!
Thank you so much for creating this!!
The game now comes with both a "Kill" deck and a "Save" deck.
The Constable and witches will search through these decks to find the card they wish to kill or save, and will place them in designated areas in order to mitigate the noise problem.
