@SpectacularName Yes. This mod was made before any DLC which means it will not be compatible.

Do I need to disable hearthstone for this to work?
AdamRobot  [author] Apr 4, 2014 @ 7:25am
@showersrandall - When you launch the game go to Data Files in the first menu and uncheck HearthFires.esm
showersrandall Apr 4, 2014 @ 6:00am
Sorry just scrolled thru back pages. How do I disable the DLC so I can get my stuff back on Steam?
showersrandall Apr 4, 2014 @ 5:54am
I just added the Heathfire DLC and when I try to enter the game crashes, so I didn;t load it and I got in fine and I saved. I turn it back on and loaded saved game it crashed right away. I like the mod and would like to continue to use it.

AWESOME! THIS TAKES EVERYTHING I DONT LIKE ABOUT BREEZEHOME AWAY!
AdamRobot  [author] Jul 1, 2013 @ 4:54pm
@Shaossx - This mod had not been updated for the expansions. It is for vanilla Skyrim.
Fenrir Jun 30, 2013 @ 2:41pm
i subscribed to this mod and when i tried to enter breezehome it kick me right out of the game
Numb7numb Jun 9, 2013 @ 7:15pm
This is crazy! If found out what I did last time. I unsubscribed to this mod, opened the game, deleted the autosave with the Breezehome then resubscribed. Viola! No wood pile blocking the stairs. I hope I don't start seeing little green men....lol.
pallans May 24, 2013 @ 2:20pm
thanks for this mod its great,i would like to see two shield placks that can be activated on the wall above the mannequins and perhaps another weapon rack say a four place possibly at the base of stairs but up on the baseboard.
Numb7numb May 9, 2013 @ 11:48pm
Sorry. Just checked and realized that those mods are one and the same. Ooops! My Bad!
I forgot what I did last time to make it go away or maybe an update from Steam might have done it. But it came back. No big problem, just an annoyance. I welcome any ideas because this mod is perfect for me and the Breezehome I like. Thanks
Numb7numb May 9, 2013 @ 11:43pm
Only one, "breezehomelightfix.exp". Would that be it or possibly that one is conflicting with the "shadow stripping fix"?
AdamRobot  [author] May 9, 2013 @ 10:54pm
@Numbnumb What mods do you have that deal with Breezehome?
Numb7numb May 7, 2013 @ 9:06pm
I love this mod it is perfect for the Breezehome. Just one glitch just showed up again. The wood pile under the stairs showed up again. I suspect it might be another mod messing this one up.
Any ideas which one? Thanks.

Love this built..simple and keeps to the integrity of the Breezehome build:-)
Tasendia Feb 6, 2013 @ 3:14pm
It is a shame that the way down to the basement is there. I would have loved to have this mod but it would clash with another mod that I have got.
Powerthrucontrol Oct 9, 2012 @ 3:07pm
Oh okay! Fingers crossed that gets dealt with. Happy trails
AdamRobot  [author] Oct 9, 2012 @ 1:54am
I talked to a few mod makers and they said it is actually all mods that change Breezehome. So if Bethesda fixes the Hearthfire DLC then the mod should work again.
Powerthrucontrol Oct 8, 2012 @ 3:35pm
Pity. It's my favorite breezehome mod.
AdamRobot  [author] Oct 8, 2012 @ 1:05pm
Turn off the DLC and grab your stuff. Then save and turn it back on. The mod isn't compatible with the new DLC and I currently don't have time to fix it.
Powerthrucontrol Oct 7, 2012 @ 3:14pm
This has been crashing for me since I installed the hearthfire DLC. I had all of my stuff stored here! can you please fix it?
mcbarker69 Sep 30, 2012 @ 4:27pm
I haven't tested this mod yet (Just added it), but it looks great. One thing I notice immediately was that there was a graphic conflict with the Breezehome Ladder Fix Plus mod. Using both mods, there are two stairways (one on top of the other) going to the second floor. It would be great if you could resolve the conflict, because the ladder fix mod repaired a number of stairways in the game. Now I'm back to stumbling at the top of the stairs again, which happens also on your basement stairway.
AdamRobot  [author] Aug 17, 2012 @ 1:46am
@Ticklefeather Thanks! Glad you like it.
Ticklefeather Aug 16, 2012 @ 10:56pm
Thanks for this Demorus. It's just what I would have changed. Nice and clean with room to move around but appropriate to the vanilla house.
Kodiak Aug 13, 2012 @ 2:38pm
All good, just making you aware.
AdamRobot  [author] Aug 13, 2012 @ 1:49am
@Kodiak It is odd the alchemy room would be changed since I didn't edit that area. Perhaps that is the Dawnguard issue people are having. There is a bug with the alchemy room with the new DLC. As for your other lighting issues...if I get time I could try to reset the lighting in the vanilla home to default and release as a seperate version for those who use an existing light mod. Don't hold me to it though. I have a list of things to work on as it is but would like to do this once I get some free time.
Kodiak Aug 9, 2012 @ 2:55pm
I just tried putting the mod above and below the lighting mods and in both cases it didn't help. Same two issues with the cooking fire when you just enter the house and the issue in the alchemy lab area.
AdamRobot  [author] Aug 8, 2012 @ 1:10pm
@Kodiak I updated the lighting to get rid of the weird shadows. That is why it is having issues. Did you try switching the load order of the mods? That might fix it.
Kodiak Aug 8, 2012 @ 12:44pm
I like it but ran into conflicts with lighting with the "Realistic Lighting" and "Improved Interior Lighting for Realistic Lighting" mods. Specifically at the front of the house (the cooking fire wouldn't light up from the front view) and the alchemy lab area. Good mod otherwise, liked it but just couldn't get it to work nicely :)
Gen Draconis Aug 7, 2012 @ 12:42pm
anyone hear ghost stories in skyrim i heard one in ivirstend to the inn and talk to the barkeeper
and he will tell you a rumor about the undead place
gustavoav1 Aug 7, 2012 @ 12:29pm
I like it a lot, it is small, nice and practical. Many thanks. Also, the mannequins were moving first time I tried the mod after installation, I just got out of the house and in again and the problem was solved.

Please do not add anything else, it is fine like that, it matches the rest of the house.
CHEQUERED Aug 5, 2012 @ 12:22pm
Thx for this sweet little addon :)
AdamRobot  [author] Aug 4, 2012 @ 8:05pm
@vidlover97 Sometimes you just have to go slow. There are a few issues with getting aligned on the stairs. The vanilla stairs of Whiterun are similar. The ones I added are just a bit more difficult due to the narrow gap in the floor. Also if you don't like the mannequins you could try out http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=73294054

That is this basement without the mannequins. It has other items in place of the mannequins.
Gram Aug 4, 2012 @ 3:47pm
also when i tried to enter the basment i would no clip into the wall or something, and end up
at the bottom of the stairs leading upstairs. that i think is just not enough room for the players head.
Gram Aug 4, 2012 @ 3:34pm
and actually i was not in breezehome at the point of 1st load.
maybe it was someting that wasn't just the mod conflicting with something.
Gram Aug 4, 2012 @ 3:31pm
actually im too terrified to try again:[ . but other than the maniquen thing
it was fantastic.(now i'll fear maniquens in skyrim for the rest of my life.)
a nice small extension to breezehome with just what i needed.
(not going back though, too freaking creeped out.)
AdamRobot  [author] Aug 4, 2012 @ 3:13pm
@vidlover97 Wow! Did you reload the mod? I thouroghly tested them and never saw them move. Were you perhaps in Breezehome when the mod first loaded? Sometimes that will cause it to glitch. If you were then save outside the home then install the mod and re-enter. Let me know if it keeps doing it.
Gram Aug 4, 2012 @ 1:33pm
THE MANIQUEN WAS ALIVE!!! When i first went down there i saw the maniquen and walked past it. but it kept looking at me! thet was the first time ever that i was scared that bad!
my face is still tingly, and my heart still racing! i don't think that was intensional, but...
F###ING CREEPY!!!
AdamRobot  [author] Aug 4, 2012 @ 12:49pm
@the-spitfire Keeping the basement to the size of the main floor so there won't be any additional rooms. Won't be adding a smelter and forge since it is right next to the blacksmith. This mod was actually a fan requested mod and the people I designed it for (as well as a good number of those who downloaded) said it wouldn't be pointless to add. I personally don't want it there because this mod was intended to appear as if it was part of the house at launch.
the-spitfire Aug 4, 2012 @ 9:10am
all good, its only a small glitch,i found the chest above the bookcase in the alchemy room was good to store potions,i thought the chest in the enchanting room wood be good for wepons for future enchantingand other bits and peoces.have ya thought about smelter and forge as a side room off the basement?
AdamRobot  [author] Aug 4, 2012 @ 5:39am
@the-spitfire Decoration was something I was struggling with. I knew the size and function of the basement just not how to make it look 'cozy'. Banners are a posibility. I had thought of them but I just need a way to make sure they look right. The chest on the bookcase is a good idea. I am going to be looking over this mod a bit this coming week and trying to add a bit to it. Once done it will be released as an alternate version.

The stairs...those have always been a pain. I know how to fix them but unfortunately can't. They need to be at a different angle but if I change the angle the stairs become to long and won't work in the space provided. Basically if the stairs are longer then they are now then you would need a hole in the floor longer to enter. It is something I spent several hours on trying to fix multiple different way but I think the only way it could be fixed is with completely custom models made for both the stairs and the floor.
the-spitfire Aug 4, 2012 @ 3:36am
if ya could add something, maybe a chest on top of the book case near the enchanting table.like the one at the alchemy table upstars.and a couple of banners behind the manaquines?
the-spitfire Aug 4, 2012 @ 3:33am
thanks for this mod, nice and easy layout.just a little glitch when walking down the steps to enter.gets a bit sticky, like when going up the stars to the loft.but overall nice little package, thumbs up.
AdamRobot  [author] Aug 2, 2012 @ 1:13pm
@Jokerine Yeah it does lack some color. I am thinking of adding some rugs or maybe a few items to the walls to decorate it a bit more, keeping a Breezehome (Whiterun) theme.
