Nice but very short. Would be ok for a begining of a series.

That's a cut line from the incinerator portion of the game. The file is "sp_incinerator_01_11.vcd"

Where did you get that "50,000 years is a long time" line? I've listened to complilations of Portal 2 dialog, both used and unused lines, and I've never heard this clip before. Did it come from Lego Dimensions or something?

Not bad for your second hammer map. In my opinion it could benefit from a more complicated puzzle, but the visuals are creative.

It wasn't offputting at all, I just noticed that it doesn't kill the player at the very top of the "liquid". I don't even know if that can be fixed.

I used the incinerator_base particle system which basically creates a huge lake of fire like that.

It's kinda weird the way it floats, but in later maps I do like this I'll be sure to make it less offputting.

Nice map, well made and lit. "Cool" concept, I noticed the surface of the molten liquid on the floor comes at least a quarter way up the exit door but doesn't seem to hurt you when you jump onto the apron of the doorway. Kinda weird. Thanks for your efforts.

This music was used in the actual incinerator room after GLaDOS throws you down there in singleplayer. Glad you like the look of it!

Looks cool, it's just that the floating fire threw me off (not literally :P) Also, I've never heard of this music before, is it custom?

Actually I can easily describe it. I placed a portal on the surface just below where the cube comes out. It kept landing just slightly below the portalable surface. It wasn't really persistent. It only did it about 4 times before it worked. It could be just a physics glitch from one game-play to another.

Unless the light literally makes you unable to play the game, I intended for the floor to emit tons of light. It's molten metal in an inclosed room, after all.

About your other point, I just went and pressed the button about twenty times and got no issues. Would you be able to upload a video/demo?

As you can see that light texture on the bottom give a tremendous amount of light. You can maybe try a layer of light blocking around 16 units in thickness directly over top of it. Look for "block light" in the texture browser. This will block it, and you can add and adjust light color and amount to your desire. The only difficulty I had was the cube not landing directly on target after it spawned/catapulted. It took a few tries before it went in. But I do like the way it spits fire. Other than that, it's not bad.
