@Weed Exterminator, Yeah prop snapping was on, but I figured out the problem was that I used the steam workshop and downloaded new assets and mods while the game was running. This messed up with the surface painter and all the custom prop heights in the save game and I had to re do them all.

@Julianos Prop Line Tool makes that part really easy. Lines up everything for you.

@Stambo, Did you subscribe to Prop Snapping? I beleive that is your problem. You need to use Prop snapping to fix that issue. Make sure it's enabled in your content manager.

Anyone else have the problem when the bridge pieces all conform to the ground seemingly at random? I will move all the bridge pieces individually with move it to get them together. Then all of a sudden I'll check back on the bridge and all the pieces are underwater and I will have to move them all to the same height as the road.

If your bridge does not work as easy as in the game ... you should not publish it. Puzzling a bridge from single pieces, elevate them to make them hopefully fit - that's awful.

@Veknor: the reflection depends on the normal map of the water. i guess he usees a custom one.

how did you made the water reflection effect in the river?????

@muh.ismal20 - Try use find it mod and type the asset name. Most of the bridges are buildings in electricity tab maybe in the road tab. This bridge is prop it should be hidden in the large prop menu (more beautification mod) so I recommend you use find it to find it :D

BenTracker, can you make a retaining wall? for buildings that are on a hill, the game just generates the unrealistic pavement so it looks like a giant bed sheet.
