Question, I'm a filthy mac user and I had some issues modifying the zip file where after I unzip and zip it, it is no longer recognized. I have little to no experience in modding and I would like some help in how to get unzipped and zipped files to work, I have done the renaming hair to attachment on some other mods without zip files just fine.

still works, in order to see the moustaches and hair you need to go to the files of this mod in the workshop folder in steamapps and change the "hair_selector" to "attachment_selector"
(i know my redaction is kinda shitty but english is not my main language xd)

Thanks for putting this under its own species class. The other Imperial German portrait sets try to force adding it to Humanoids, which makes it vulnerable to conflict issues with some of the other mods that touch the Humanoid portait set.

I'll issue another update soon™, but I am currently cooped up in a motel in the armpit of Toronto, halfway back home after a rousing adventure into deepest, darkest Quebec, and don't have the mod files on hand to work with at the moment. Keep an eye out for an update from here in a day or two, once I've had a chance to return to America and civilization.

I'm afraid not-- these portrait sets were a test to see how well some portraits could be color-adjusted to work with another portrait set, with a little Frankenstein-ish stitching together of different eye sets and such too. I think it worked out pretty well, though. The end results even ended up being added into the French set.

I do intend to revisit this set and make a proper multiracial version at some point, though. Following the approach taken in the French set, I'd still like to find some nice Askari clothes for the African portraits.

Actually, yeah, French is next up on the roster. Byzantines would be the trickiest to do, since I only really just edit paintings other people have done-- there's plenty of mosaics of Byzantine figures out there, but not so many oil-on-canvas portrait paintings!

I agree about the French portatils, we need them to lose every wars against Britain!
