@Mugen Thank you for the feedback <3
And no, the scripts are only meant to be run when installing/upgrading or uninstalling the mod. Also when verifying game cache, you must re-run the script
Report back please
Thanks again! And enjoy skyrim! :)
@Kaytas are you sureyou have followed the installation steps correctly?
Also I am running both of the performance versions.
However, if the game runs good afterwards, then you are good to go.
I found out that it was crashing on my first install because during the time the Launcher was doing the mod sync it had "stopped responding" per windows which, by instinct, made me kill the launcher process. It turns out that when I ended the Launcher I messed up the sync even though the second time I opened the Launcher it all seemed fine and the sync was "successful".
On my reinstall when the Launcher "stopped responding" I just let it run and came to find that it had completed successfully and the game didn't crash (after running the VBS) and had the performance boost that this mod granted.
I am leaving this in case someone else runs into trouble installing this mod since I saw no comment explaining this before.
Thanks for the great mod!
I will add that to the descriptions, because many people might had the same problem (I suppose that it's in the OS side, and not mine) and they didn't notice.
Any solution ?
Btw, do I have to be subscribed to the mod for it to work? Because it takes a while for the launcher to load the mod. Or is there a way to "hard install" it?
After all this long time, I finally got some free time to create a new partition on my PC and install a fresh-new Windows installation on it for testing this. That means that I had a completely fresh Skyrim installation (no mods, no SKSE, nothing, just vanilla). I followed the instructions of my own mod's descriptions to install each of the BSAOP version, and they all worked perfectly on new games and even existing games (which I had because they were downloaded from the Steam Cloud's backup)
So, I discard any problem on Steam's side or Skyrim's side, because as I said, everything went as expected in my clean installation of Skyrim. I would like to help all of you who are having troubles with this, but please, check that you followed all the instructions properly.
Have a nice day!
PS: I'm posting this on every BSAOP thread, I don't want this to be unnoticed. Sorry :)
