This mod did nothing. :steamfacepalm::steamthumbsdown:
ferferga  [author] Jul 11, 2024 @ 8:28am
@The Umbral Corvid Exclusive to Steam, uploading to Nexus would be a violation of the copyright since the mod includes the optimized game assets.

Will this still work if i run Skyrim through NMM? or is it exclusive to Steam?
ferferga  [author] Dec 31, 2022 @ 12:33pm
@SnotRocket86 The script does very simple stuff, basically move files around. You should be able to manually do it without any issues by just reading it.

@Mugen Thank you for the feedback <3

Utilizando um Ryzen 5600 e uma RTX 3060 estava tendo muitos travamentos, com o mod resolveu 99% dos problemas obrigado =D

Hello, I would like to install this on a linux setup, which means I won't easily be able to run the VBS script. Is it possible to manually configure things to mimic what the script does?
ferferga  [author] Jul 27, 2021 @ 9:36am
@Sharky Yes, that's normal because this is not a "normal" mod, but one that replaces game files

And no, the scripts are only meant to be run when installing/upgrading or uninstalling the mod. Also when verifying game cache, you must re-run the script
Sharky Jul 11, 2021 @ 4:26am
idk if you are still replying but i have a question. When i start up the launcher i can see that it syncs the mod but i can't see the mod at 'data files'. Is this normal? (also do i have to run the "BSAOPP_Install.vbs" everytime i play the game)
ferferga  [author] Feb 17, 2021 @ 3:51am
@SpaceMan Yeah I guess, why not :)

Report back please
KafeTime Feb 14, 2021 @ 11:05pm
Is this compatible with linux using proton?
twygz Oct 25, 2020 @ 10:49pm
even being old, it should be capable of runing the game flawlessly
ferferga  [author] Oct 25, 2020 @ 1:38pm
@maizomeno That's a really old CPU so you can't expect miracles. In many aspects, this game requires a beefier CPU than a GPU. Most GPUs from the year it was released could run the game smoothly, not all CPUs.
twygz Oct 14, 2020 @ 1:47pm
my gpu is great gtx 770, mine gpu is a shit (i3 2120)
ferferga  [author] Oct 14, 2020 @ 1:39am
@maizomeno Your mileage may vary as stated in the description. It mostly helps in CPU constrained systems. If your system is more constrained GPU-wise, performance might not be improved.
twygz Oct 9, 2020 @ 11:46am
yeah, i did it, i had no issues doing it but i didn't get much better in terms of performance
ferferga  [author] Oct 9, 2020 @ 5:21am
@maizomeno No. Simply follow Installation instructions.
twygz Sep 28, 2020 @ 10:14am
i need to download other mod in order to make this works?
kaytas_ Feb 10, 2019 @ 10:02am
@ferferga It really helps with loading time and I can play on Higher textures quality without noting FPS drops, so thanks then.
ferferga  [author] Feb 6, 2019 @ 9:16am
@Kaytas probably the launcher was corrupting the files as it's doing with everybody. How is the mod working so far?
kaytas_ Feb 4, 2019 @ 11:41pm
@ferferga Okay thanks, works now :mailedfist:
ferferga  [author] Feb 4, 2019 @ 3:15am
@Kaytas Skyrim Launcher is very sensible and can't manage large files so well, it's something I discovered by uploading this mod, so let's try it step by step.
ferferga  [author] Feb 4, 2019 @ 12:46am
@Kaytas Hmm. Run uninstall script and unsubscribe from all other mods. Subscribe to this one. Wait until Steam finishes all the downloads and run skyrim launcher. Wait until it says finished synchronization of active mods. Run script. Open skyrim launcher again and see that message again. Subscribe to your other mods. Run skyrim launcher again and wait to see that message again. Restart Skyrim Launcher again and wait until it says Finished synchronization of active mods. Play.
kaytas_ Feb 2, 2019 @ 1:52am
@ferferga I even launched it on vanilla only + SKSE and SKY UI, still the same effect.
ferferga  [author] Jan 31, 2019 @ 11:55pm
@Kaytas and you waited enough on Skyrim Launcher? Maybe it is corrupting your files, as it's doing with so many people.
kaytas_ Jan 17, 2019 @ 2:08pm
@ferferga I did everything like in steps. Even tried on clean Skyrim.
ferferga  [author] Jan 17, 2019 @ 10:05am
@Mr.KILLJOY Great news, thank you very much for your feedback! It's great to read comments of people telling that they are enjoying your work!
Thanks again! And enjoy skyrim! :)

@Kaytas are you sureyou have followed the installation steps correctly?
kaytas_ Jan 16, 2019 @ 7:28am
White coffin while loading and crash after it
Mr.KILLJOY Jan 8, 2019 @ 8:10pm
Game runs SOOOO much better. Before I was lucky to get 30+ fps but my game is now running 40+ no sweat. Even big battles with dragons attacking everyone run smoothly at around 35 fps whereas such battles used to run at 15 or 20 if I was lucky. Great mod and just removes that worry I used to have in the back of my mind as to whether or not I would overwhelm the game with scripts. 10/10 Would definitely recommend.

Also I am running both of the performance versions.
Mr.KILLJOY Jan 8, 2019 @ 1:12am
Just going through the install process I can tell that a lot of effort has been put into this given the messages that reitterate instructions. A detail that was completely unneccesary since it's all already in th edescription. It just shows that no stone was left unturned. Now to see how well my laptop can now run Skyrim! I'll report back!
ferferga  [author] Dec 31, 2018 @ 5:23am
@cobra chapeleira It might not have asked about admin privileges because your settings, user, environment... Already allow the program to have the administration privileges.
However, if the game runs good afterwards, then you are good to go.
Xugabugala Dec 31, 2018 @ 5:04am
maybe is a problem in my machine but, i want to have assurance
Xugabugala Dec 31, 2018 @ 4:57am
@feferga sorry i was in another place, basically i started doing the process of installation but it don´t request run as administrator, so i right-clicked on it and don´t have "Run as adiministrator" as a option.
ferferga  [author] Dec 30, 2018 @ 11:48am
@cobra chapeleira Hey! What happens exactly?
Xugabugala Dec 30, 2018 @ 7:38am
hey please help it dont let me run it as admin
ferferga  [author] Nov 13, 2018 @ 8:34am
@BlueMistane O.o that's neat! :) Thank you very much for leaving your feedback, it's really good to hear that you are enjoying my mod :D. Your comment will be useful for some other users for sure :)
BlueMistane Nov 10, 2018 @ 2:58pm
So I found this mod today for my laptop and the first time I installed it I had it crash on loading my save.
I found out that it was crashing on my first install because during the time the Launcher was doing the mod sync it had "stopped responding" per windows which, by instinct, made me kill the launcher process. It turns out that when I ended the Launcher I messed up the sync even though the second time I opened the Launcher it all seemed fine and the sync was "successful".
On my reinstall when the Launcher "stopped responding" I just let it run and came to find that it had completed successfully and the game didn't crash (after running the VBS) and had the performance boost that this mod granted.
I am leaving this in case someone else runs into trouble installing this mod since I saw no comment explaining this before.
Thanks for the great mod!
Kvstosz Oct 17, 2018 @ 2:52am
Before installing this mod i had like idk, barely 15 fps, now it's good enough for me to play. Works better than other mods i tried, and installation is simple
ferferga  [author] Sep 19, 2018 @ 7:14am
I'm so glad that it works for you guys! :) That is fantastic!
Mblaze Sep 17, 2018 @ 3:32pm
This really works. Before installing this mod I got about 30-40 fps on my 2013 rather mid-rig laptop. After it's 50-60 :B1:
LLLLL Sep 14, 2018 @ 12:09pm
Finaly a performance mod that actualy works, tyyyyyyyyyy
ferferga  [author] Sep 2, 2018 @ 1:12am
Then, it didn't installed succesfully. Right click the file and choose "Run as admin". Let me know if it works with that :) @gameninja

I will add that to the descriptions, because many people might had the same problem (I suppose that it's in the OS side, and not mine) and they didn't notice.
Nate Aug 24, 2018 @ 5:18am
yes I followed the instruction but it didn't asked for admin priviliges
ferferga  [author] Aug 24, 2018 @ 4:47am
@gameninja Check that you have followed the Installation instructions accordingly.
Nate Aug 22, 2018 @ 11:35am
cannot load a saved game and on the loading screen are red and white stripes.
Any solution ?
ferferga  [author] Aug 10, 2018 @ 6:40am
@Repeperilka Yes, you can, ofc. As long as you followed the instructions properly, you are good to go! If you unsubscribe, remember to do the steps described there.
Peppir Jul 19, 2018 @ 2:54pm
The mod is awesome! I've never played skyrim at 60fps!
Btw, do I have to be subscribed to the mod for it to work? Because it takes a while for the launcher to load the mod. Or is there a way to "hard install" it?
ferferga  [author] Jun 19, 2018 @ 3:45am
For all of you guys who are having problems while installing it or using it:

After all this long time, I finally got some free time to create a new partition on my PC and install a fresh-new Windows installation on it for testing this. That means that I had a completely fresh Skyrim installation (no mods, no SKSE, nothing, just vanilla). I followed the instructions of my own mod's descriptions to install each of the BSAOP version, and they all worked perfectly on new games and even existing games (which I had because they were downloaded from the Steam Cloud's backup)

So, I discard any problem on Steam's side or Skyrim's side, because as I said, everything went as expected in my clean installation of Skyrim. I would like to help all of you who are having troubles with this, but please, check that you followed all the instructions properly.

Have a nice day!
PS: I'm posting this on every BSAOP thread, I don't want this to be unnoticed. Sorry :)
Gwengandalf Dec 12, 2017 @ 7:30pm

ferferga  [author] Oct 22, 2017 @ 3:59am
@BlueNightfury I will friend you if you don't mind :). Maybe you can help me to figure some things out :). I'm really busy lately and I don't know when I will have some spare time to take a deeper look into it, so that way I can get in touch with you quickly.
Bluetail Oct 20, 2017 @ 10:56am
Sorry, I was bitter last night. I figured out how to fix my Skyrim, which involved me going into my Steam files. I would like to use the mod but when I follow instructions the game just well... Breaks.
