President Potato Apr 22, 2014 @ 11:19am
has he just added trees
yannik.schulz Apr 20, 2014 @ 1:45am
I have all plugins of the mods in Nexus, but I don´t know what I have to do with that files, if I want to install the mods from steam in Nexuss.
yannik.schulz Apr 19, 2014 @ 5:02am
can it be that Nexus cost anything? I´ve seen a short film from 2012 on Youtube. The guy which had posted it said, that a new account is for free. Right now it costst and I won´t pay for it. I think that Nexuss is a bit better in dealing with mods than steam, isn´t it?

it's enough when i press SUBSCRIBE? it's autoInstall ?

@mercenary; thank you for comments; please give me some more infos:
1.) ocd? please tell me more :-)
2.) yes the tree should actually change its visuals; flowers.
ThatLocalArabicCamel Aug 3, 2013 @ 5:06am
Can someone please tell me? Does the Gildergreen actually grow flowers? Bc their's quest is basically about repairing it, and when i did the quest it looks exactly the way it did before i did this quest. Plus bro you know how after the battle in whiterun Severio Palegio/Heimskr house and that corner was destroyed. Do you think you could repair that because I have OCD and that thing is destroying my life LOL. k thank you
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Apr 8, 2013 @ 9:09am
@jojarich; thank you for your comment; hope you feel at home in this whiterun. i tried to stay as close as possible to a natural look. i think a town in the tundra would look like this, at least in my imagination. have fun!!
jojarich Apr 6, 2013 @ 6:59am
u did a graet job on this mod! whiterun used to be bland, and every other mod goes way to far with the plants and clutter... this is just right, beautiful without it being overdone. thank u for your work...
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Feb 28, 2013 @ 1:08am
@sarojz; no it does not repair the city of whiterun; that was not my intention; the idea was to stay as close to the original as possible, therefore, the damages by the civil war are not going to be repaired;
Evil.Norman Feb 26, 2013 @ 6:02pm
does your mod repair the damage done by the civil war? I'm using your mod and I still see the damage after I implemented it.
Fluffy Cactus Dec 20, 2012 @ 11:06am
i really like this mod its not to much like most city overhaul mods i would live to see more
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Oct 23, 2012 @ 7:25am
@kalicola; thank you for your comment; i am indeed working on similar version for solitude; i think solitude would be a city, which needs a subtle change in its look; i am at 50% progression, it is gonna take some more days.
REE Oct 23, 2012 @ 2:38am
Best whiterun overhaul out there! Please do more towns and cities :)
Aeolith Aug 12, 2012 @ 5:30am
subbing... wonder if its patable with cities of skyrim rebuilt
Cepelinas *********_com Jul 31, 2012 @ 1:12am
@d4m8u573r; i am not sure about modding for other towns; i have to check first the potential of the towns; my aim is to add vegetation; not all of the towns are suitable for a dense vegation as whiterun was; most towns are in the northern parts, and there's is usually not much vegetation. falkreath would make sense, also solitude. unfortunately the vegetation objects provided by the editor do not look very good for solitude, for example. but i will check out the possibilities.
D4M8U573R Jul 30, 2012 @ 7:32pm
will you be doing more city beautification projects , possibly as a collection or sub collections, such as cities, towns etc.
Maltemos Jul 30, 2012 @ 2:41pm
SUBSCRIBE :D
Dragonyup911 Jul 30, 2012 @ 12:03pm
Yeah, that does make sense.
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Jul 30, 2012 @ 7:12am
@boalers; thank you for comment. i will check with windhelm, if there's potential to expand it with the same idea like i did with whiterun; windhelm is a northern town, where vegetation is very sparse by default. i am not sure if it makes sense to add a dense biomass like for whiterun. this makes more sense for towns in the southern regions of skyrim (riften, riverwood, falkreath and others), but i will check it out. in the end i want an logic expansion of a town, not just expansion for fun. it must retain the original feeling. i hope you understand. greetings
Matsukovich Jul 29, 2012 @ 6:18pm
Boreal tress??? :D
Dragonyup911 Jul 29, 2012 @ 1:05pm
if you could so what you've done here with windhelm. i would be extremely impressed. in my opinion, hjerim is the best player house in the game. however i hate the feel of windhelm so much. Whitrun looks amazing. perhaps see what you can do about windhelm?
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Jul 28, 2012 @ 8:16am
@all; thank you for your posivitive feedbacks
@applestormy; thank you for your offer to use the name "Towns and Villages" but right now i am not sure if i will keep on modifying other towns; i am not sure if there is enough potential to mod for the other towns and cities, and as there are enough mods around; and i think the hype for skyrim is rather over now, and of course i will take a lot of time to complete... (you know what i mean). i will think about it. btw: great mod of Solitude, right the way i like it, just my style!!
CrusaderDeleters Jul 27, 2012 @ 1:15pm
Hey look, new ways to hide from gaurds.
Aplestormy Jul 26, 2012 @ 3:55pm
Hey bubo, I've got a series here on Steam and the Nexus, called Towns and Villages Enhanced, Feel free to use the name, if you do I'll add it to my collection :D I love this mod, keeps the feel of Whiterun while making it more detailed. I've taken some screenshots, just ask if you want them :D
Deathblow92 Jul 26, 2012 @ 8:46am
This is an awesome mod, can't wait to see other if/when you add them!
t_schilling13 Jul 26, 2012 @ 4:56am
great mod love it.
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Jul 25, 2012 @ 11:31pm
@supadj; yes you are probably right; with the word "expanded" i meant to expand whiterun with vegetation, maybe it is the wrong word; but anyway, it sure looks good... imo!
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Jul 25, 2012 @ 11:27pm
@fsu+jrmarshall2014; thank you for comments; yes i am planning to modify other cities; have not yet decided, which ones; also, i am only thinking about adding vegetation, i do not want to change the original feeling of the game, because i think the designers did a good job; also it has to be a town, which allows adding vegetation, as whiterun did; so it needs emtpy spaces, and of course ground which makes sense (soil), and it must match the outside environments, so there won't be alien plants from other regions... i do not like that all! expect to see something within the next 2 weeks, because of holyday season here in switzerland.
have fun!
Acrux Jul 25, 2012 @ 9:14pm
This seriously makes Whiterun look ten times better than it normally does. Keep it up! Would love to see what you could do with other cities!
JallBuggler Jul 25, 2012 @ 6:50pm
you should (if you can) rename this mod more florished whiterun becuae you did't expant whiterun in any way you just added plants! i don't even have your mod and i can tell that!
Fluffy Cactus Jul 25, 2012 @ 2:49pm
also do you plan to do other cities?
Fluffy Cactus Jul 25, 2012 @ 2:46pm
hopefully its easyer on fps then Beautiful Whiterun
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Jul 25, 2012 @ 11:21am
@crsebald; thank you for your positive feedback; we have the same taste how whiterun should look like :-); it was my intention to change the look of whiterun that fits best its outside environment; of course this mod does not change the overall look, because i think, that there must remain some original feeling... this is actually true for many places in skyrim... just add some small things on the right places, and skyrim looks so much better. have fun!!
crsebald Jul 25, 2012 @ 9:36am
Nice mod and it is the most fitting one for Whiterun in my opinion. It catches the atmosphere of the thundra and makes Whiterun "green" without placing too many flowers, like the "Beautiful Whiterun" mod does. I do like this one better. Great work!
Enterprise Jul 24, 2012 @ 11:20pm
i love necer
Galoogie Jul 24, 2012 @ 8:42pm
@adriankellet
thats based on personal opinion. you should try them both out and see which one you like best(and which one your computer runs best with).

Good Mod :) Thx
Architekh Jul 21, 2012 @ 10:09pm
Is this mod better than the "Beautiful Whiterun" mod?
amoderndaedalus Jul 20, 2012 @ 7:48pm
very impressive, i find it better looking than the "comercial brands" ( more popular). keep it up. I like it!
Gypaetus barbatus  [author] Jul 20, 2012 @ 1:27pm
@aplestormy+altravangar+pvmfladian; thank you for your positive comments. i tried to make a mod which does not change the original look from the bethesda designers; they did a good job; unfortunately they left away the vegetation, so i added a foliage biomass, which i think is more or less correct for a town in the tundra... and of course there must be a gardener in whiterun (myself), who likes a leafy hometown... same is true for other places in skyrim... too little green, trees, plants. i will change that, to make skyrim an even more beautiful game. enjoy!!
Fladian Jul 20, 2012 @ 1:21pm
excellent
Aplestormy Jul 20, 2012 @ 10:58am
Honestly I prefer this to my own! :) Nice, subtle enhancements.
Altra Jul 20, 2012 @ 6:17am
Looks good mate. Suttle but keeps the overall look. Very nice :)
