Hello ! Love this mod but it REALLY don't need Death's Touch, Cricket's Body and the trinket.. And why so much heart ?? it's way to easy like that, not fun ^^

With these items alone, you still would start with base stats, but you would have a HUGE advantage and be able to rock your path and design your build as you see fit (and the items see fit to appear)

The other reason these items are chosen over some others (notice, no black candle) is because of the following things they do not do:

no followers or orbitals
no items that drop stuff (when you get hit, etc)
no stat changing
no tear (or bomb) changers
no damage reduction
no space item charging modifiers
no "moral" changers (devil or angel room chance... which is why no black candle as it increases devil room chance)

and if you were so willing to make a mod that just had these start items and nothing else I would love you forever!

So after taking a bit of time to look through the list oh items (all passives) I came up with a list of items that do not break the game, but sure make it an OP start if you had them.

Skatole, Skeleton Key, A Dollar, Transendence*, The Compass, Treasure Map, The Ladder, Steam Sale, PHD, X-Ray Vision, Spelunker Hat, Mom's Purse, Pyro, Humbeling Bundle, Goat Head, Blue Map*, BFFS!, Hive Mind, There's Options*, Bogo Bombs, The Mind*

Toxic Shock, Restock, Bursting Sack, Pay to Play, More Options, Deep Pockets*, Sack Head

Contagion, Camo Undies, Duality

I subscribed to this mod and it changed Apple's starting item from Void to Spider Butt :P

I think the idea behind this is great, but I would prefer a slightly different "perfect" start...

6 red hearts, and 6 black hearts with gold heart aura, 99 coins, keys, and bombs.
The Compass, Treasure Map, Blue Map, Recycle (for total breaking runs if that is your thing), Black Candle, PHD (for better pills), Goat Head (for garaunteed devil/angel room doors), and Trancedance (because it adds flight and nothing else)

All other choices should be made by the player. I know there are a few out there that might prefer not to have Crickets Body or Death Touch (for some reason)

other than that, great idea. But also somehow broken as it replaced my starting spacebar item for some reason.
