Just LOVE this lil cottage. Not too over-done or too big. The perfect location so I can park my horse & cart right next to it when I pull back into town. You have a new fan for sure.

This house is an absolute MUST have! I use it in all my games. I love it! It's so nice to have a beautiful house like this in Riverwood. A beautiful little town to live in.

For those who would like to live with your spouse and one child in this home in Riverwood, it is possible. You can only have one child in this house tho because there is only one bed roll. You do need another mod to have your spouse and child move in here with you. You need to use the Custom Family Home mod by VITCHRAZOR. It works. I used it to move my spouse and daughter to this house with one of my characters.

Thank you for making it possible to make Riverwood even more beautiful. It is my favourite town in Skyrim and therefore I have added some extra houses made from great modders like you. Keep up the good work :)

I love this house! Bethesda should have had a player house like this in Riverwood in the first place. This house is an absolute must have!!

Hey I hope you make some more vanilla house mods. I really like yours!

I absolutely love this house. Unfortunately I had to unsubscribe and resubscribe today, because, for some reason, the game decided it was going to unsubscribe this mod for me. I had alot of things stored in tnis house, and about 825k in gold, too. LMao. I have yet to log back in and see if my stuff is still there or not. If it isn't, no big deal, it's not like I can't get any of it back.

Also, please make more mods. This house is a nice addition to Skyrim and Skyrim could use more like it.

I'm guessing this is the "Ivy Cottage"... Well I tried to disable the trees and it worked. Very easy, just don't miss them and delete the house by accident!
Vehk Feb 26, 2013 @ 12:19pm
This tree you speak of, perhaps it is capable of being banished with the console command "disable"... I will try this and get back to you.

Thanks - I left a comment on the Towns and Villages Enhanced page to request the move of the tree.

Love this mod! Princess, it's good to see that you've continued your great reputation for charming mods that add atmosphere and character to the game, without going overboard. When I play Fallout 3, some of your mods are the first ones I re-load whenever I start a new game... I'm glad you're continuing the tradition in Skyrim. I'm sure you already know this, but there's a slight bug when using "Towns and Villages Enhanced - Riverwood" - it creates the branches of a pine tree sticking out from the front door and part of the front of the roof. For those of us who want to use both mods, it would be great to see the two authors come up with a patch that eliminates that one pesky pine tree. Otherwise, excellent job! I always look forward to your next mods!

:D No problem. It's a beautiful house.

OMG! There WAS an invisible chair in there! Who the hell invents an invisible chair? Why? How? What the ...?
Fix uploaded. *sigh* Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Labyrinth Aug 4, 2012 @ 9:13am
Of courrse at the moment it looks like Dawnguard has broken my whole game. :(
Labyrinth Aug 4, 2012 @ 9:10am
Nope, it's an invisible chair. They're not warming their hands by the fire. I wonder if it's an incomapitibility iwth UFO. I tried taking just 1 companion inside, and she did the same thing.
princess.stomper  [author] Aug 1, 2012 @ 2:46am
Ah, re the invisible chair: there are idle markers in the cell. The companion should try to warm their hands by the fire - perhaps that's what you are seeing.

@ whoever70 - glad you like it. I didn't add any sounds in and based the house on an existing house so that must be something preset in the game. I'll have a look next time I update the mod

@ emirossiter - thanks for the kind comments. I'm not sure if the plants will grow back, even though they're regular plants, because it's in the NoResetZone. Wow about the invisible chair - I can't imagine why that would happen.
Labyrinth Jul 30, 2012 @ 5:39pm
BEAUTIFUL home. I would expect nothing less of the Princess. Stupid Question: Do the plants grow back if you pick them? I'm scared to pick them to ruin the effect. But being able to grab a deathbell now and then would be nice. However, I did find a bug. I think you must have had a chair once before the fire when you did the nav mesh. When you bring a companion into your home and tell them to Relax (if you have that option), they will sit in an invisible chair in front of the fire. A chair would be lovely by the fire, but it would be inconviently placed in front of the food storage. I assume that's why it was removed! It's extremely disconcerting to a role player to see someone sit in an invisible chair. I tried to imagine she was sitting on the floor, but it just doesn't look right! Maybe that's what you intended when you were thinking about companions? Looks quite freaky until they can sit cross legged!

Thank you very much for this mod. I really, really like this place. It fits perfectly in the environment. Very nice! Only 1 tiny little "issue" that caught my attention... it would be great, if that background "blowing wind" sound in the house could be turned off. Apart from that... fantastic. Thank you so much!

nice mod, i still remember your house mod near pelagiad in morrowind, nice places to chill & r&r :p

A very pretty and functional house, I've always liked houses like this in Oblivion so it's nice to see quality house mods popping up for Skyrim now. It is small enough to be realistic for Riverwood while still having essentials for a new character. No bugs for me yet.

Also, I like that this house implements a cozy underground living area. This type of architecture was mentioned a lot in Oblivion concerning the Nord/Skyrim influence of Bruma despite not being seen in TESV at all.

Gorgeous!

Nice mod! I've always wanted my own little house in riverwood!
