-Steel Faith Overhaul's "Night Goblins (Spears)" will now use the shield variations of this mod.
Glad you like it :)
-Updated to remove the "Out of date triangle"
thanks
It should except the shield's on any added units will be as in vanilla since the variantmeshdefinitions file is under a diffrent name and the new units propably refer to the normal one, but everything else should :)
I think I touched a material.xml file ones and I don't evne think I really did anything with it, so that is my experiance.
On the second question, I will change it, but not today.
@Goblin
Thank you!
@-=MN=- Waghazag
This is a purely cosmetic mod.
Oh and btw, you should propably rename the variantmeshes as it messes with other mods that uses vanilla variations. :( My mods for example that gives a custom goblin units swords now has your variations of the variantmesh.
I don't know if i can, i havn't had this problem myself so i have an even less idea of what might be wrong than anyone who actually experianced the problem.
@GeekEnglish
Cool :)
- Added 1 flagellant club to the weapon variety.
- Slightly brightened one of the goblin swords as it was darker than all the others.
- Fixed slight offset in thumbnail picture.
I would be lying if i said i havn't thought about it, but it depends onf the time i have available and how my other projects progress.
@The White Power Ranger
The change of banner colour won't be on this mod, but i will update my "Better Faction Banners and Names" soon with a new black banner for Crooked Moon.
You actually gave me an idea to try and make some greenskin banner patterns, but i have only encounterd crashes while attempting this. I might try and pick it up again at some other point for another try.
@Guvenoren
I can only speak from the information that i have gotten, the people i know who also mod only have had problems with the wood elves and since i havn't had any problems myself texturing all the other races, then it seems to me atleast that the problem lays with the wood elves.
@illathid
Duely noted :)
Any chance you can change the banner colour as well? With the Units black and white the blue feels like it doesnt suit them anymore. (Is it possible to do checkered banners?)
The texture issue is only on the Wood Elves :)
Update:
- Added 2 new head variations with a yellow crest moon.
- 1 new bow variation
- 1 new quiver variation
- All Night goblin arrows now have read feathers and a little visual poison on the tip.
Note: This has one exception to it, when arrows have been loosed and are in air they will revert to vanilla arrows, i have yet to locate where CA has hidden the texture attached to it.
- Slightly reduced brightness on triangular head pattern.
- Removed red outline around the moon crests on hats.
If so, how did you retexture?
The other mod is not mine, i only guided a friend with making the mod :)
All the units are white, i would colour Crooked moon yellow, it is just that i would have to hex edit every single part and it is so time consuming and tiresome to do so. the reason why i have to hex edit instead of just for example making a mask layer so they change colour with faction colours is that it seems you are unable to create mask files for models that doesn't already have a mask, but if people voice that they really want yellow crooked moon i will sit down and do it :)
