bsquiklehausen  [author] Jun 15, 2021 @ 8:16pm
@moreno204 - I'm not planning on making too much more than the currently running fleet, but the B division equipment will be overhauled soon.
moreno204 Jun 15, 2021 @ 7:47pm
also can u make r68 sory not r62
moreno204 Jun 15, 2021 @ 7:44pm

bsquiklehausen  [author] Apr 29, 2020 @ 7:10pm
@BoketOBoatTrash - this will work the the vanilla metro, too.
BuketOBoatTrash Apr 27, 2020 @ 3:58pm
Given that the latest DLC adds elevated metro tracks, is Metro Overhaul really required for this? I got rid of everything MO related, but this asset just would not spawn. Is there something literally inside the file itself that is tied to MO, and it won't spawn without it?

If so, would it be possible to make a version of this without any other mod requirements. This is really the only metro train available that I actually like.

Let me just say that I'm eternally grateful for these subways on the workshop and thank you for making these, BSquiklehausen!

But let me just ask, is there any way to make these trains longer?
Serenity Rune Dec 15, 2018 @ 7:35pm
IPT2 allows for configurable capacity.
Serenity Rune Dec 13, 2018 @ 12:31pm
R62/R142 - 240 pax (30 * 8)
R32/R46/R160 - 180 pax (30 * 6)

Why are the R32/R46/R160 carrying less passengers than the R142? Should the capacities be around 240-300 passengers?
McFarrell Aug 4, 2018 @ 11:16am
@bsquiklehausen, Ok thanks for the update. I'll wait for the remake. Great job again, I really like all your assets, great stuffs.
bsquiklehausen  [author] Aug 4, 2018 @ 11:14am
@MCFarrell - These have been on my list of things to remake (including with lighting) since we talked last. I am currently still working on aircraft revamps, then the Amtrak/Citylink stuff, then these. I do not yet have a timeline for when they'll be updated though.
McFarrell Aug 4, 2018 @ 3:44am
@bsquiklehausen Hello, any news about updating lighting?
LongCow17 Jul 1, 2018 @ 7:14pm
Can you help me with something? I'm trying to add my own logos to the train. I was able to export the file but im not sure how to open or edit it. Thanks:steamhappy:
McFarrell Apr 3, 2018 @ 12:50am
@bsquiklehausen Thank you! Again fantastic work! I really appreciate.
bsquiklehausen  [author] Apr 2, 2018 @ 8:28pm
@McFarrell - these were made back before that was possible with Metro trains (before MOM came out, actually!) When I come around to revamp them, I will make sure they have the right lights.
McFarrell Apr 2, 2018 @ 2:46pm
Hi! Great asset! I love your work but is it possible to ad an illumination of the surrounding effect like your trains? Because when it's night, the windows lighting is ok but they don't project any light on the environment.
Chris6d Nov 16, 2017 @ 11:50am
You know what would be even more awesome? If you made the R42 with the slant of the R40s (so basically the R40s), because who wouldn't want those slanted trains running around the city? Either way, I'll still get it regardless. And looking forward to that "secret", hopefully that'll happen soon.
bsquiklehausen  [author] Nov 6, 2017 @ 11:48am
@KevinGonzalez1992 - You found out my secret! I honestly forgot there were R42s in service still. I'm pretty happy with the subway fleet right now though - the next addition is a secret, then after that, I want to patch the R46s to actually be the right length and have a nicer "face", then I'll probably do the R42s.
KevinGonzalez1992 Nov 5, 2017 @ 5:20pm
@bsquiklehausen Since you said that you will only make trains that are still in service, what's the ETA on the R42? The MTA still has the R42 in service on the J and Z (Some are are being used as the M train shuttle running between Metropolitan Avenue and Myrtle-Wycoff Avenues)
Chris6d Jun 4, 2017 @ 12:24pm
@bsquiklehausen That makes sense. Well, you're the creator so you know what's best.
bsquiklehausen  [author] Jun 3, 2017 @ 4:24pm
@Chris6d - I'll do the R211 once test equipment hits the rails in NYC. The R179 is so similar looking to the R160/R143s that I'm going to just stick with the R160s as my B-Division NTT stock.
djnellz215913ko May 19, 2017 @ 4:39pm
Your trains are amazins, as is your youtube series, love it!
Repkingster134 Apr 22, 2017 @ 2:21pm
well people actually like the slants
bsquiklehausen  [author] Apr 22, 2017 @ 2:04pm
@animaniacmax - I don't plan on any more new trains here - for me, the R46 is similar enough to the R68 that it feels silly to release another train with another texture and model to have to load for something that looks so similar. As for the R40s, I am not planning on any trains that are not in the current fleet.
Repkingster134 Apr 22, 2017 @ 5:14am
bsquik can you make a mod of the nyc r68, r40a and r40 slants please we would like to see it happen sometime just asking
Issen Apr 4, 2017 @ 12:56pm
Yeah I know it's you but realized the irony didnt show up in text. You gotta release em though. Looks awesome =)
bsquiklehausen  [author] Apr 4, 2017 @ 12:53pm
@Issen - Check the username on those videos! The assets aren't released yet, though.
Issen Apr 4, 2017 @ 12:52pm
https://youtu.be/v_DzPRRd82o?t=18m and forward he starts placing them. And the other props sure look like yours =)
bsquiklehausen  [author] Apr 4, 2017 @ 12:48pm
@Issen - link me where you've seen it!
Issen Apr 4, 2017 @ 10:34am
Ive seen ppl using a "work" train that looks just like your stuff. Where can I find that if anyone knows or if its yours, whats the name of it in the prop list? =)
bsquiklehausen  [author] Mar 26, 2017 @ 10:38am
@Nikita - yep! These are already set up for MOM.
Kathman Mar 26, 2017 @ 9:05am
So, these will only pop up from Metro Depots and are already converted, or do I need to somehow do that myself?
bsquiklehausen  [author] Mar 4, 2017 @ 7:38pm
@Slayer - I have released one, just forgot to update the descriptions!
Beaker-MeepMeep Mar 4, 2017 @ 7:25pm
Oooooooyeah a prop version to build a depot!!!! Do it do it do it do it!
Issen Jan 9, 2017 @ 5:35pm
Any word on when the prop version might come? I wanna do a nice depot :)
bsquiklehausen  [author] Jan 5, 2017 @ 2:34pm
@FreekyFreezer - They fit much better as metro (third rail, better elevated networks, better station lengths) than rail, so I won't rerelease them as trains. I do have a bunch of other heavy rail trains (including a Metro North-style one) on my workshop though.
FreekyFreezer Jan 5, 2017 @ 5:58am
Is there a chance that you'll make the R142 and R160 for trains, too?
RoomMic Jan 4, 2017 @ 5:56pm
Oh didn't notice the interior lights.
bsquiklehausen  [author] Jan 4, 2017 @ 4:05pm
@AmnesiacGuy - while not released until afterwards, these were all made using very early versions of the MOM Metro template, and headlights weren't easily available. They do have interior lights though.
RoomMic Jan 4, 2017 @ 1:25pm
Wish there were lights on this thing... the R22's have interior lights and head lights, why don't these? Great models tho, look amazing.
CUADRADITOS Dec 27, 2016 @ 12:10am
Thanks for the answer @bsquiklehausen, when you patch the train, please comment!
bsquiklehausen  [author] Dec 26, 2016 @ 4:47pm
@ace - The game really hates black colors and makes them grey (at least on vehicles). The black part right now is pretty much as dark as is possible. You can use some high contrast LUTs to darken the black tones though.
bsquiklehausen  [author] Dec 26, 2016 @ 1:44pm
@ZJFishy - yes they do!
ZJFishy Dec 26, 2016 @ 1:25pm
Do the colored circles change color according to the line colors?
bsquiklehausen  [author] Dec 26, 2016 @ 9:28am
@ace - I do not plan on doing so.

@[OGT]CUADRITOS - I will look into lights on the front (should definitely be doable), but rear lights will not be, as I don't use a unique car for the last car on the train - there's another copy of it in the middle. I actually made these cars when MOM was in testing, and there was no way to get lights, so it's something I do need to patch in.
CUADRADITOS Dec 26, 2016 @ 7:40am
This is one of the best metro for MOM, but hasn't lights. Can you add some lights on front (and rear if you have the extra vehicle options)?
bsquiklehausen  [author] Dec 25, 2016 @ 8:28pm
@ace - I decided not to do the American flags since these are meant to be used in cities that may not be set in the US. Heck - if you look closely, the MTA logo actually says "STA Skylines Transit Subway" instead of "MTA New York City Subway"!
