Well the shipsets been back for awhile and while this works with the ships still the army names no change.

Just realized. I'm afraid I have no idea what CaptainX3 is up to. Sorry.

Im asking because it dissapeared from the workshop altogether.

According to the Mod author the Alliance Ship set is going to be updated after NSC. NSC has been updated a couple of days ago. I recommend a little patience ;-)

@Minibonz: That's unusual. Sounds like the Ship class wasn't properly recognized by the Name List and thus only the Name of the Template you created in the ship Editor was applied. You'd get the same result if using any ship mod other than NSC for the newly added ships.

@prbeeney: Cruisers, Strike Cruisers and Battlecruisers share a List of 150 different Names (cities) from all around Earth + known Alliance Cruiser names from the ME universe. Battleships use exacly 193 Names as I named them after Nation States. Dreadnoughts are named after Mountains just as in the ME series, Superdreadnoughts are named after Gods and Deities and your Flagship will carry the Name of a Continent on Earth.

Thanks for the update, I can see an improvement already. Honesty I think I had a bug of some kind, ALL of my Normandy-classes were named Normandy, it was just off putting to imagine that many Shepards running around.

That's not Bug-related. You simply have limited possibilities for naming a ship. The limit is the amount of Names you prescribe for the respective ship type on the Name List. If you have more ships than you have names to pick, they get repetetive. I kept the name logic of the Alliance so I did some web research and gathered 110 different Names applied to Frigates based on Battles in Human History. For the Game Logic, "Normandy" is just a potential Name for a Frigate equal to "Hastings", "Gettysburg" or "Yom Kippur". That's just an Engine Limitation.

However I agree that my List could use a little love. Maybe I'll extend it in the near future.

A different question: I counted 110 different Frigate Names. At which point of the game do Names start repeating themselves? Because I want to know how many names I may have to add.

This could use an update, there are a few ships that dont get names and a few that need more names added in, it's weird to have several dozen ships all called Normandy.

Pity. A pain to have to click twice to launch the game :/

An Update isn't needed as the List still works fine and always will as long as Paradox won't change anything regarding Name Lists.

I would have changed it already (as it's just editing the Version Number in the Mod File) but my System wouldn't let me without Windows Explorer crashing.

Does this need an update? Cause it has the Red ! next to it.
