Searing doom kills don't count toward his kill count? any way to fix this? I do love seeing kill counts rise due to big AOE spells like Winds of Death and Pit of Shades. Would love to see Gelt with 300+ kills.

Now we only need to figure out some buffs for gelt himself. He has no good Gelt specific abilities.

Are you sure vanilla Glitering robes is 24 seconds? For me (no mods applied) it's 31. I am so confused is it 24 or 31?

Good news, no need to add Arcane conduit for balthasar gelt in multiplayer or custom. He'll get in it the upcoming update.

And for searing doom I'd recommend removing projectile_explosion tables and set it to vanilla but in projectiles_tables set the damage to like, 3 times the original value. to like 36dmg and 18ap. It makes the spell more valuable in pitched battles but not to poke armies with.

I'd recommend setting the glittering robe to 24 seconds again as 35 is too long in my oppinion :)
I also compared similar spells and even they have less than 24. But 24 is very vanilla friendly

I don't think you should do that. Now it's exactly like flock of doom. I suggest changing it back.

I tested it again with your recent update. Not it dealt less damage to the lord but kept the same killcount vs the Chaos warriors. I think this spell needs to be balanced delicately.

I actually tested it. Flock of doom has the tendancy to deal more damage, but doesn't actually have the potential to kill the targets. I think it actually works like I said it. It has base damage of 18 and 0.15 hit chance. But can damage 6 targets at once within a unit.

It wont change because even thoug hI have it set to only damage one entaty, each unit is considerd one and it still kills multiple people

Alright let's see here. We should increase the base damage but lower the change that id deals damage. I compared with a spell that is supposed to do the opposite, Flock of doom. Check that one out in packfile manager.

Alright as far as I can see now, Final transmutation is too strong against multiple units. It should be more single unit focused.
