I didn't have to use any other programs.
When you create an armor piece, you can double click it and access an armor add-on section or something, if I remember right. From there you set the first person and third person models, and I just used the same model for both.
Let me know if you still can't figure it out, I can double check and see if I can give you step-by-step instructions like tomorrow.
What is IIRC? May I ask?
Anyway, its been a while since I've used the Creation Kit, so I can't give you a step-by-step, but IIRC I just used the third-person models as first-person models, and they worked fine.
I'll look into it when I have time.
If it's not to much trouble, may I ask for a link to whoever made your meshes so that I may ask permission to use them? Or if you own the meshes, may I have your permission? I will provide credit where credit is due.
