does this mod still work? i cant find where the arrows are, they arent in any of the smithing menus

I've never had to use feathers to make my arrows... I've always found it to be just ingots and firewood.

You already can craft arrows so this mod is redundant now. All you need is dawnguard and you can craft them.

why not add wood as mat?

i like the idea of feathers (inspired by minecraft =P), but i think you could replace the leather strips/hawk feathers with firewood, as in dawnguard dlc ;)

Another method is using ice storm or rapid fire (alternate between left and right, charge one while firing the other) fireball or lightning bolt or use one of the staves for it if you're not a mage and just keep firing, having 90-100% magika cost reduction in destruction help a lot. If you can't do it with that method or the other shouting method then I don't know what to say apart from you must be new to the game.

I don't know how long I've tried shouting down the Hawks at solitude, but I don't think I've ever gotten one :(

You could make a new character in Whiterun, that only sells feathers.. Name: Julian Featherheart :D

So, I am going to change of computer: I'll make a new version after with:
- Leather strips replaced by Hawk feathers;
- You'll be able to buy some hawk feathers to all blacksmiths.

Even if you can't shoot the hawks in Solitude down you can just shout them down a couple at a time if you get up on the high walkways on the walls.

lol i agree, skyrim isnt skyrim unless you go to solitude at least once and attempt to shoot down a hawk with your bow, but awesome mod by the way, probably my favorite

Hawk feathers aren't rare, go to Solitude and shoot them down. PLEASE change it back to Hawk feathers, because I like vanilla Skyrim but some mods like this help me, and It would be stupid to just use leather strips for arrows

Two characters up to level 50, and only two hawk feathers in that entire time.

Hawk feathers are quite rare. Perhap if the recipe was Hawk or Hargraven feathers it would be a little easier. Hargraven feathers are also rare but you can go to a couple places for them and a higher level vendor will also carry one every now and then.
