Doesn't seem to be working - too bad. This was a great mod back in the day!
Gravity Sep 5, 2019 @ 1:02am
Doesn't work for me either
Highlynx Sep 22, 2018 @ 8:34pm

This has been a must have mod for me ever since I found it, a long long time again. . . any chance you're considering adapting it to Special Edition? Regardless, thankyou, probably been my favorite mod.

@NaugthyZeus I'm glad you like it :) Have fun ;)
NaughtyZeus Jun 10, 2015 @ 11:28am
@Blackparagon ah i see :) well anyway, nice mod :) ( i use it and love it )
Midnight  [author] Jun 1, 2015 @ 11:15am
@NaughtyZeus I thought that might be totally unbalanced and I didn't want to totally screw progression over, just give vannila endgame players more variety. On a side note, I tried it without perk requirements and it felt too much a cheat.
NaughtyZeus May 30, 2015 @ 1:42pm
why not do so you can craft it without smithing perks?
Midnight  [author] Mar 24, 2015 @ 4:36am
@meggan.mab you are welcome :)
Crimson_Sin Feb 26, 2015 @ 6:54pm
You have no idea how long I've been looking for something like this. The Nightingale Armor is the only suitable armor for a true assassin and I LOVE that it is unenchanted and works with my retextures. Thank you!
skunkworks Jan 26, 2015 @ 9:06pm
Does this only imrpove to flawless? I have 100 smithing, all the perks. Doesnt say I can go higher than flawless.

I won't start a fight here, only state that

a) this was probably one of the first mods that made it craftable, if not the first
and
b) I made no change whatsoever to the textures/meshes and/or particle effects (if any)

My mod uses the original textures and meshes that come from skyrim itself. If you find other mods that supply you with a craftable Nightingale Armor and that one looks different, then those mods have a custom texture and/or mesh for it.
Alas, I remember you that TESV shipped in November 2011, just a bit more than 3 years ago. Highly likely some people out there made their own version of a craftable Nightingale Armor mod or incorporated such stuff into their own mods/mod-packs.

If you think my picture is misleading, that was taken without any texture packs or lightning mods/enbs/injectors active, it's vanilla skyrim.

Hope I could clear this up for you :)
Holy spirit Jan 19, 2015 @ 12:05pm
this is already craftable on other mods except it's original black not this silvery colour you made
ying_ko13 Jul 18, 2014 @ 10:51pm
I do hope all goes well with the IT Specialist training, good luck.
Midnight  [author] Jul 18, 2014 @ 8:01pm
Thank you all very much :)
Regarding that quest, I might find time to work on it soon, as I am currently applying for an apprenticeship to become a qualified IT specialist. When that's through I hopefully can get to that. It really boggles me ^^
ai22dan Jul 17, 2014 @ 10:22pm
ok awesome
ying_ko13 Jul 17, 2014 @ 8:32am
It works well. Improvable and enchantable. 'Tis a jolly good mod.
Midnight  [author] Jul 17, 2014 @ 8:21am
No, no dlcs needed for my mod :)
ai22dan Jul 17, 2014 @ 1:02am
do u need dlcs
ying_ko13 Jul 13, 2014 @ 8:49am
Oh yes, enjoy it very much indeed. A short quest would have been nice though.
Midnight  [author] Jul 13, 2014 @ 7:26am
Nope, as ying_ko13 stated, no need to do the quest line. Originally I had plans to write a small quest/event for it, but never found the time to do it.

Nonetheless, I am very happy to see that you find this usefull and enjoy it :)
ying_ko13 Jul 12, 2014 @ 10:00pm
No, you don't need to do that questline to have this armor. You simply craft it. It is improvable and enchantable.
SeducingVocals Jul 12, 2014 @ 5:22pm
So you don't have to do the Thieves Guild Quest line to make it? Or you still have to complete the quest line?
ying_ko13 Jul 12, 2014 @ 12:51pm
Thanks, it works well.
ying_ko13 Jul 11, 2014 @ 8:41pm
Fine idea.
Shambles Dec 29, 2013 @ 8:16am
I tried but its just the nightingale armor and you can't enchant it that way, atleast thats cleared up for anyone else.
Midnight  [author] Dec 28, 2013 @ 7:44pm
You mean the ID? That can be looked up via console command in-game. Best way to do it, as the ID's are dependent on load-order of your mods if I recall correctly.
Shambles Dec 28, 2013 @ 12:45pm
Hey, i don't suppose you ever added the item codes so we can add custom enchants? fantastic mod btw thank you.
Midnight  [author] Dec 26, 2013 @ 2:27pm
You don't need to have a dlc for this to work, and it should work with any of the dlc available. :)
CpnCrackBeard Dec 24, 2013 @ 10:30am
nedd it a dlc ? how dawnguard or only vanilla? :pandastunned:
Queen Danielle Tiana Dec 23, 2013 @ 12:32am

love this mod now i can temper my nightingale armor and finnaly use it in battle
phlox1979 Jun 2, 2013 @ 1:43am
@Blood Angel: get the Enchantment Cleaner- Mod. Works beautifully, no bugs. I used it for the Nightingale Blade, for example. (I wanted it to trap souls, too.)
phlox1979 Jun 2, 2013 @ 1:41am
Oh yeah...Dragonscale Armor just doesn't look good on an assassin. I actually tried to play vanilla, but it just doesn't work out. :P There really should be a "craft assassins armor"- option in the Smithing-Tree. Something sleak and black, like Nightingale, preferably without mask and cape. Like, Smithing Skill 100, and then a mixture of dragonscales, quicksiver and void salts, so it's not too easy to obtain. Especially in Dungeons with a lot of Draugrs, Falmers etc in one place, it's mostly first sneak attack, then melee, and it would be really tiresome to switch gear constantly. Right now, I'm spending hours improving Alchemie to get better Enchanting to get better Alchemie to get better Enchanting....

P.S.: Also, it shouldn't be necessary to spend perks on the Heavy Armor-side of the tree just because the Light Armor-Weapons don't even come close to Daedra-Weapons.
Cummander Girthquake Apr 7, 2013 @ 3:35pm
I agree with Michaelcherrybomb I would love a heavy armor set this is some of my favorite armor in the game still and I have seen heavy armor sets that other people have made but they always have the enchantments on them
Flame Alchemist Mar 9, 2013 @ 10:44pm
can you make a craftable heavy set ? :)
*****erandy Feb 18, 2013 @ 3:48pm
Please add the weapons.
PedroUltima Feb 1, 2013 @ 8:17am
where are this armor
Elcarim Dec 6, 2012 @ 12:24am
Why change it to quicksilver? The normal armor requires Void salt
Fierysaint Nov 29, 2012 @ 1:02am
Base stats a little too high.
Redson37 Nov 13, 2012 @ 10:48pm
LOL well at least you're honest about it :)
Midnight  [author] Nov 13, 2012 @ 3:13pm
I will not (and am afraid I will have to say this multiple times) change anything regarding textures/meshes. That's not what I do, I'm very bad at it and if you want something like that, you should probably ask somebody else ^^
