Can you make hoarfrost's (ralis sadaris pickaxe) enchant disenchantable? I want it so badly.

how long does this take to start? i mean i need the bloodskal blade's useful enchant but a crappy weapon

Not all items with apparent enchantments are actually enchantments - Silver weapons and Lucky Dagger are examples of this. They are not enchanted with anything and can both have an enchantment placed on top of their effects. Both work by applying a temporary perk to the player, and you can tell things that work like this apart from others because they don't have a bar that requires a soul gem to recharge.

When you disenchant an item, will it still be destroyed or still be available for own enchantments? Cause i love the nightingale armour, the enchantments on it doens't fit my playstyle needs!

i want a sword with Nocturnals Talon and Frostfeed, but chillrend wont disenchant >:(

I can't disenchant the dragon priest masks!

I can disenchant the Archmage robes to acquire the effect "Skien of Magnus", but it does not show up as enchantable for any item (the effect remains greyed out).

Can you disenchant the ebony blade? o3o

So have had this mod for awile not and i do have enchatment freedom i havnt had not problems with it yet.As far as luckys dagger i have had the problem with not being able to disenchant it.I have been able to fix that problem with uncheck the mod doing a hard save.Then loading the game rechecking the mod seems to fix it for me.With the problem with dont being able to renchant other items i would try the method above to try and fix it.

So a slight problem. There are NUMEROUS items I have disenchanted that I cannot use.

So far, the Arch Mages Robes, Savior's Hide, Nightingale Armor items (all of them), and the Morokei dragon priest mask. I can disenchant them just fine, but I can't put the enchantments on anything at all. They show up in my list, but when I select them, no item is acceptable. Even the muffle enchant from the Nightingale boots didn't work. I had to disenchant a set of Shrouded gear to get it.

So far, it seems that armor enchants are the only ones not working. I can disenchant the Nightingale weapons, the Mace of Molag Bal and Mehrunes Razor and apply their affects wherever I want.

valdr's lucky dagger doesn't work, or is it just me?

Tried this on the shrouded gloves, gave me the backstab enchantment...... however I can't actually use the enchantment on anything.

Would be really cool to be able to disenchant items that you already know the enchantment without destroying them, to reenchant them later with another enchantment... You know... change the enchantment of a previously enchanted item...

I noticed that even though I could DE the item and gain the enchantment, I could not however actually ADD this enchantment to any other item.

hmmm jus disenchanted The gaulder amulet and nothing appeared in my enchantments list and then i disenchanted spellbreaker which did appear in the list however i could not put the enchantment on a daedric shield which seems odd

A note for anyone who wants to do this in their own mod. Pretty easy to figure out but all you gotta do is go to the keywords on an item in the CK and remove the keyword MagicDisallowEnchanting

How about muffle and sneak from dark brotherhood gear?
