Your other (not hardcore) version of this mod says [alpha].
Does that apply for this version, too?

IDK If its this mod or dynamic merchants that did this but I sold some Sleeping Tree Sap to Adrianne and the next day I found the same 3 bottles in the Drunken Huntsman's shop. I like it.

@girlsgonemild - I don't mind, it's up to you!

For even more realism:

Why don't you make the gold decrease as the day goes by? (What I mean here is that at 9:00 am the merchant might have 20,000 gold, but as it gets to nighttime, it might decrese to 5,000 due to people buying their products. Or perhaps it could go the other way too?)

You don't have to if you don't want to, it's just an idea, so as is the first one.

@Benjy52 What if they go invest it all somewhere else? What if they get robbed during the night? Not only that, but the store I work in tries to make around $30,000 a day, on average, if not more. That's just for one category of item. What if they have lots of types of items? What if they're really good merchants to other people? Rome wasn't built in a day, true, but that's comparing apples and oranges. Merchants deal with large amounts of currency every day, the amount determined by A:) How they did the day before, and B:) How they did before you came in today, (unless you're the first customer)

I'll tell you what, I'll meet you halfway, if you're interested. I can make an add-on that spawns a relatively high random amount of gold in their inventory, but sets the restock to once a week. Sounds good?
Arama Jun 24, 2012 @ 9:55pm
It should be randomised every week, no-one can earn or lose 25,000 gold in a day. That's like saying ' Rome wasn't built in a day. ' See what I mean?
Xtermin8'r Jun 22, 2012 @ 12:36pm
o.... well thanks
Gookiemonster  [author] Jun 22, 2012 @ 12:31pm
@X'termin8r
No actually, that can still happen. The point of this mod isn't to give merchants more set money, it's to randomize their money count so you never actually know how much they're going to have each day when you first walk in. If you're looking for something that just raises the amount of gold that merchants have, check out my other mod, Levelling Merchants Wallets
Xtermin8'r Jun 22, 2012 @ 11:27am
yaaaa no more murchants running out of gold
sao Jun 18, 2012 @ 11:03pm

Subscribed.
Gookiemonster  [author] Jun 13, 2012 @ 2:14pm
Exactly. It might make all the difference on a bad day.
Icarus Jun 13, 2012 @ 2:03pm
so it is a random amount of money + 500 gold(or 1000)?
Gookiemonster  [author] Jun 13, 2012 @ 1:53pm
The amount of gold that merchant will always have as a safety net is increased. All regular merchants have a safety net of 100 gold to fall back on "in case of a bad day of sales" It would really be more noticable if you're unlucky and the merchant doesn't do well that day, therefore having a low amount of gold. Fences have more to fall back on, though there is something...strange about the way the Fences

what happens if you invest in a merchant?
