@Aggressor it would ensure there's no issue yes, but i don't see why you can't export characters into a new game with the mod.

changing squad doesn't always fix slaver behaviour. also slaves added to squad correctly stay between 99 and 100 hunger, but as soon as food is available, they just pick it up. so it's a big waste.

@PickleRick yeah the mod is broken and this is the only work around that works. from what i understand it used to work, but an update from the devs broke the mod. it sucks that it broke but the mod maker genuinely has tried to fix it only to realise the conclusion that you've come to.

@Taxidermy Minotaur - So hiring the ex-slaver will just make him pick up people and throw them in cages, then I'll have to recruit them into my squad and pretend they're slaves??
The whole thing is broken basically, am-I understanding it correctly?

indeed, i even managed to get a kenshi dev's opinion on this and they said that they're standing their ground on it, so mods are our only option for becoming slavers, aside from capturing people and selling them to the slavers

@Taxidermy Minotaur - Yes, that is unfortunately the thought process of today. In this game, you can murder, cut off limbs, leave people bleeding out in the desert, rob people blind, genocide entire towns and peoples, turn people into wiggling torsos without limbs and make sure they'll live and stay like that, all these horrible things. But being a slaver, that's too unethical for the Devs to allow the player to do. Give us a break :P

there is a way to turn off that enslaving function, it only happens when the person is in the first squad

It needs a "enslave mode" button so you can turn off the enslave mechanic. I am sick of trying to control my characters without any success because they don't give a damn about anything but enslaving people all the time causing me a lot of problems like faction becoming hostile towards me or having beak things up in my ass when I'm trying to be sneaky

that's the only way it can work, the original way this mod allowed you to enslave people got broke by an update, now the only way it can work is by recruiting them. lots of people have complained about not being able to enslave people to the devs of the game and the devs won't allow people to do it because they claim its unethical, and they won't release the tools needed for people to add it in themselves. simply put, recruiting them like you did is the only way.

i hired ExSlaver but he doesn't do anything when i knockout people, any clue ?
i have classic and cannibal cages but no job or special function pops up
i can only talk to prisoners and add them to squad, but that's not the point

also its done through talking with the prisoners and recruiting them like the random nobodies in bars, the original method broke and recruiting prisoners is the only work around that works

@tyrranor basically there's a certain ai package that gets added to a character for them to be considered a slaver, starting a new game and choosing one of the slaver starts gives you people with this package but aside from that you're probably going to have to import your characters and visit the Paradise Falls city that replaces one of the cannibal cities up in the cannibal plains, once there you can hire an ex slaver who has the needed ai package. it can't be added to already made characters. also this ai package only activates when the character with it is in the first squad

i tried to cage healthy/recovery coma or outside the cage but no option ? how ?

This mod will make the original character capture anyone who joins later as long as that person is in the cage

iirc there's nothing new added to the shops, the mod does increase the ability to carry stacks of items so bulk buying and selling is easier, but no items are added to the shops

the AI slavery package only activates in the first squad, that allows some degree of control, if it still doesn't work then try a new game, other than that it could be a mod conflict since this mod does add alot

The ex slaver i recruited from Paradise Falls isnt doing anything either. I have a person in a cage, and there is no dialog option with them if i try to interact with them with the slaver

that's because the enslaving part is a package added onto the AI, only characters with that package can enslave NPCs, since you had characters before you got the slaver then only the slaver you recruited is able to enslave NPCs. however the enslaving part has been broken for a while, so the work around is that you can put NPCs into cages and then talk with them and recruit them for free, but unless you give them the slaver AI package then those recruited NPCs won't do any enslaving aswell, not that you can do anything with the slavery AI, but its basically recruiting characters from the bar for free and done in a way where it feels like slavery

I have installed the mod part way through a game i have made. I moved the mod to top of load order, imported the game, and recruited the Ex Slaver, but nobody in my squad will attempt to enslave any NPC they down. i have cages built in my base and still nothing. Am i missing somthing?

I wish this mod had only the slaves function, instead of also being an economy+squad limit+food+resource+stack+vendors+random encounters+faction+dialogue mod.

The problem is that most people will have more than 1 mod, and having one megamod like this instead of multiple separate mods mean that for people like me, who already have quite a few mods, we can't download this mod because ONE of the multiple functions of this megamod interferes with ONE of our mod. In this case, I don't want to risk messing my up vendors, food, and economy mods.

you incapacitate someone in combat, its best to use blunt weapons, less chance of killing by blood loss, then your slaver will enslave on his own, then you need a cage to put him in, if you want a step by step process of how to do the next part without problems look at my past comments in this mod's comment section

So I got slaves but they do not do anything once they have accepted to become my slave. I order them to work but just stand still and sometime when I tell them to go back into cage they do but most of the time they don't do anything but just stand still

there is a way to stop them, the slaver AI package only activates on the first squad, and its only on characters tht have the package, so simply move your slavers to a different squad and they will not enslave anyone

MAKE IT STOP! But nah seriously how do you get your recruits to stop running miles away to shackle someone? Please add a function to stop them from picking up unconscious people or restraining more.

the extra storage is a reasonable mod that you might find easily on the steam workshop, as for the anime character models im not sure if you can find a mod for that but i highly doubt they will be added on to this mod, this mod is to solve an issue most players have about the vanilla game and that is to be able to enslave people

i believe its just the beginning, but you can buy bone dogs, among other things, from animal vendors, slaver dogs are just better bone dogs

so the way this mod is built is that there's two ways to control slaves,the automatic route is where you tell them to do something like go mine or go farm, this has for a long time been broken, the work around to which i refer to as the micromanagement route is where you recruit your prisoner and make him/her do the tasks like any character you recruit in the bars, the two major differences to recruiting the nobodies in the rundown bars everywhere is you don't have to spend money on them and you can only recruit them from a cage
