Hi, Thanks for the mod. So far the monster and animation looks good! So that's cool :)

This just ADDS a monster doenst it? Or does it replace another in some way? thanks

Fantastic mod, but they seem to be breaking monster zoos. As when I don't get to them in time, killing the newly born diggle will not complete the zoo.

"Everything you always wanted to know about diggles, but were too afraid to ask."

It can possibly answer the perennial question - Which came first the diggle or the eggle?

Necro, why are Eggles classified, Eggles?
Powerful diggles are ok with me as long I have Vegan.
thingy! Jul 4, 2012 @ 12:39pm
Hah! Love it! such a crazy and fun idea.

Hahahaha! I am honored. But it wasn't my idea... lol

NEW UPDATE - As suggested by Spectreincarnate - There's now a 10% chance that an eggle will hatch. When that happens, the game spawns a powerful diggle nearby. So, make sure you kill eggles quickly, you don't want the entire nest to start hatching!

@BrolyLSSJ5, That is what the description said yesterday, but it's been removed since then.
BrolyLSSJ5 Jun 14, 2012 @ 7:49am
@Spectreincarnate: I don't think they are supposed to turn in diggles... lol

Eggles are an interesting idea, but the in-game version has feet? Also, I wandered around with the same Eggle following me for many turns, but it never hatched into a Diggle.

@Tek: I'll look into this over the weekend.

Suggestion: Edit out the beak for the upward walking sprite. It looks really dumb that it's still facing down when it's actually facing up. Just erasing the beak from the sprites would be a simple fix, you don't even need to rearrange the spots or anything.

Done... admire the Rotten Eggle in all its pink and blue glory!
necromaster  [author] Jun 11, 2012 @ 9:35pm
Yes, that was on purpose... Don't worry I'll change it later with my own GIMP artwork of a Rotten Eggle.

Hey i just knoticed that the main icon is replaced with a in game picture was that on purpouse?

Don't forget the second featured monster in my collection - the Mimics. These guys can coexist with the Eggles to give you a run for your money. Enjoy the two different monsters in your Dungeons of Dredmor session!

It's finally working. The graphics has been reduced slightly so that it is relative compared with a diggle. I have also added a new room called the Eggle Nest... it's loaded with lots of Rotten Eggles and at its center is a lava lit room with nests and a statue. Enjoy!

Havn't tried it yet but it looks like an amazing idea to have a enemy that is a baby diggle that is in a eggshell.

Changing the name of the mod seems to have broken save files using this mod.
