these could theorethically be done as civics, but I haven't yet had any luck with locking civics behind tech gates.

I also think that in addition to my proposed downgrading of bonuses from +3base to +2.5base there should be a single drawback to each hyper-advanced government form, as it does represent an extreme degree of specialization. Why shouldn't that have a small on-going cost? Cyberutopian Aristocracy could have Leaders cost 25% more Influence, to take one example.

And yes, I tend to agree with kinngrim, I do think perhaps this mod could benefit from a higher cost. Making a "gate" Tech be flagged as Rare, and even after this gate Tech, transitioning to any hyper-advanced government form (even if from another hyper-advanced government form) should include some period of peril or disorder, lasting a few years, perhaps 3 or 5, in which Happiness is penalized and so forth.

However, in some cases, integer values are small, for instance my preferred one would probably be Cyberutopian Aristocracy. In that case, I think changing one of the two +3 bonuses to a +2 bonus would do the trick. My vote would be changing to +3 Res. Alternatives and +2 Leader cap.

Another interesting-sounding mod that almost certainly needs to be upgraded to 1.3. I won't even try to install this in Heinlein.

However, I do think perhaps tripling the bonuses of the base government form is excessive. It could easily get overpowered. As per the vanilla game, basic government gives +x/+x, then the advanced form gives +2x/-2x, and this mod has the hyper-advanced form giving +3x/-3x. I think downgrading to +2.5x/-2.5x would be preferable. For instance instead of +15 Core Systems then +12 or 13. x3 seems excessive.

the only thing currently keepping me from trying this out is that it is a certainty taht you always get these government types. Isn't it more likely them to be a rare or even dangerours tech needed to establish them. Some negative tradoffs which even only temporarily put you into perril, before you get the blissfull everlasting super hyper mega insane buffed transandent government forms ^^

I feel like Benevolent Monarchy should get +6 Core instead of +5 Core. Though I think that flows from the fact that not every 3rd Tier government is getting triple the benefit of it's base version.

I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but the mod removes special governmental abilities. Like being able to build an extremely large ship or station.
