let's put it this way: Empire under Mede dynasty is no longer Talos' Empire. It's superiorly inferior to it. True Empire ended with the sacrifice of Martin. As far as some Nords in Windhelm are racist, they have their BIRTHRIGHT to worship Talos. I fully support Stormcloaks.

It wasn't the racism that started the war. It was the ban on Talos worship that really started it. When Torygg accepted the terms, Ulfric was enraged, and rightfully so. How would you feel if you were a Nord, and your king spoke for you and said that you would no longer worship the god who founded your way of life? By taking away Talos, the Thalmor and the Emperor and Dead-king Torygg sealed their fates.

I love the whole switching to two handed weapon, though I have to confess to liking his younger face better... it's just a shame he's such an ass. , i understand the being upset at the compromise which was so obviously in the favor of the Thalmor... but I think it's a bit much to be (literally) racist. Outside of most of the Thalmor and the Imperials (which consists of more Nords than any other race) the rest are peaceable and show no signs of wanting to do anything outside of their jobs (all of which Nord's partake in, outside of traveling caravans). So if he'd put his big boy shorts on and accept the other races living there and just deal with the Imperials who are actually taking action against the removal of Imperial rule...he wouldn't be such a bad guy.

yea....the original ulfric looked a little like a pedophile....i like this one better.....lol

It was a book written by Michael Crichton. He based the main character and beginning of the book off of the Arabic text, then transitioned it into a retelling of Beowulf. Great book! Ok movie.

Actually, The 13th warrior came directly from an actual 11th or 12th century Arabic text

i found a bug after a while his hair changes back but his steel plate armour stays :l

@mjconway660 You obviously couldn't tell that the entire story of the 13th Warrior was a take off on Beowulf could you? Read Beowulf and watch the movie again and you will be able to see that Crichton I believe was trying to make a "realistic" Beowulf story.

Haha ace, I did the same thing but with the NPC Editor mod from the Nexus. For that reason I won't be downloading but great job! Good to know I wasn't the only one who thought Ulfric was a bit meh and would look better as Bulwyf lol.
@mjconway660 sorry to nit-pick but the character's actually called Bulwyf (pronounced Bul-vy rather than Bul-why) and it's actually a form of Beowulf. But yeah, doesn't really matter :L

This mod is awesome. Can you get audio from the movie and put it in the game?

Vlad Kulich played a chieftan name Bulwy (pronounced Bull -why) in the 13th Warrior, also starring a host of other excellently cast Northmen. He never played Beowulf; that was the voice of an English actor, and another awesome one at that, Ray Winstone. Your mod captures Vlad Kulich quite well. Good show!

Might I suggest you also add this likness as one of the defaults for a nord character? I know I'd love to play as Buliwyf. ;)

That's what I was looking for when I found this (great) mod. I was kinda looking for a Beowulf story type quest.

I think you should instead make a standalone quest mod where the Dragonborn goes and becomes the Thirteenth Warrior, meeting all of the characters from the film (save for Ahmed Ibn-Fablan, of course.) That said, Ido think this makes Ulfric look a lot better.
