Heh - Well, if you have a particular outfit in mind then I could cretae a separate mod for it when I next get the chance. Alternatively, you could have a go yourself - http://tealily.hubpages.com/hub/Skyrim-Changing-the-Clothing-Of-Your-Spouse
As far as conflicts go, I have no idea. I'm really new to all of this so I don't really know. And when I did the method suggested, she dissapeared and reappeared, but didn't update.
I'll try your other idea and see if it works.
Everything looks in order when viewed with Nexus Mod Manager on my machine, so I can't really help you there.
I have to ask just in case (since I don't know your familiarity with the system), can you confirm that the mod is selected within your data files and there are no conflicts? Also, when using the method I suggested, did the character dissapear and reappear again?
The only other suggestion I have for you is to unsubscribe, delete the mod from your data folder, and install it again.
Thanks, I'll try that out and see if it works.
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
When loading from a saved game, certain data, such as a character's possessions, may be loaded from a different directory. This is easily fixed by opening your console (`¬¦ or ~), clicking on the NPC to select them, typing 'disable' and then 'enable'. This simply reloads the character from the main directory.
Hope that helps.
The purpose of the mod isn't to make her prettier - it's to make her less… makeupified.
Prettiness is subjective.
