I didn't mean clash in the sense that it breaks them, but just that there's too much going on to really appreciate any of the work put into either of them.

I modiffy any mods that conflict with what I want and place the modified vpks in my custom folder

I've only kept them on for bolt action rifles and shotguns. With all of them enabled it tends to clash with the rest of my mods.

That is true if they compiled the images inside the .vpk file. Though it may be different now after the workshop has updated. Regardless, the image has already been set, and if people continue to have issues with this item, I will simply remove it and create one from scratch so that there are no problems.

If it was downloaded from the workshop, the folder containing the mod file should have the thumbnail image for it somewhere. They're all named thumbnail followed by numbers, though.

I'm not too sure. I don't remember the original image, but the mod was still downloaded in my insurgency folder which was where I uploaded it from.

Unless if you were the original author, I don't think it would be easily narrowed down. Even then, giving two different titles doesn't make it easier when they are both explicit sources.
