Woe.
So you actually have the bsa extracted and everything? To edit the texture, I'd theoretically open it in GIMP. Considering I've never successfully unpacked textures/models before, that's the extent of my knowledge. Sorry :/ But the Skyrim Nexus forums are indeed your best bet for help.
"i'm no modder or designer (or anything at all actually) all I did is open pse and use the "reduce light" + "reduce saturation" to the texture file, this doesn't even deserve a "thanks"!!!" I can't figure out how to open the texture file, but I figured you might know how.
I do not do retextures; I have next to no artistic talent. I'd find someone who does and ask there. If you have the textures, I could probably do the rest.
Side note, I may make a Dragonborn edition for the Telvanni and Tribunal priest robes. Cuz I am playing a mage as my current char, and they are awesome.
As far as the hair, that was Apachii Skyhair. Idk which face model I was using at the time; I've used a lot.
I'm not entirely sure what face mod I was using, probably from skyrim nexus though. The hairstyle is in Apache's Skyhairs, found on skyrim nexus.
The enchantment I used is the one used in Vanilla for the archmage robes...... as for the hooded robes, there are mods that allow circlets to be worn with all hooded robes; I have one installed myself.
Also, Thalmor robes look bamf. That's why I added 'em.
