Thanks man, they can take some time, esp on the more complex or huge ones. My Pfeil and Phantom actually were the quickest ones so far and only took about 4 hours or so. :)
Good luck getting it submitted! They do have to conform to a certain scale (2:1) and some other criteria as well, but they need people buiding things. I really like this game, but the updates can be frustrating, esp when trying to submit builds or putting things on the workshop. Such is life in alpha, but it is really coming along.
Your ships look pretty good too. I haven't put the effort into shipbuilding yet, so I don't have any uploaded. Happy building!

@revengeful lobster Thanks! I've applied to get it put in dangerous waters, who knows if it'll get in but I hope so. And after looking at your workshop its jam packet with such detailed and complex designs, I can't imagine how long it took you by yourself. As for updating this one does need a nose job...

Nice looking build. I have some WWII aircraft in my workshop and a couple in Dangerous Waters. as well, though most need to be updated. Great job!

@TRAITOR! The Conwing L-16 is a ficticious 1930's - 1940's seaplane more commonly known as the Seaduck. It's design was a mix of a Fairchild C-82 transport and a Grumman HU-16 amphibian, piloted by one Baloo the Bear, and his copilot Kit Cloudkicker.

If you were a kid in the early 90's, then you'd know it from the cartoon TaleSpin. :P

Still one hellofa plane though.

@mojo Well its worth a try :)

Go to the FTD Forums and navigate to WW2 Dangerous Waters. They urgently need a German recon plane and this fits the bill perfectly. You'll have the design become an official part of FTD! :steamhappy:

@Neko jess I may not know what your referencing, but when you make it you better post the link here :p
NekoJess Jul 4, 2016 @ 12:50am
And now I'ma have to build a Conwing L-16. Obviously for resource transport. Points for those who know what this is referencing. x3

yup
TRAITOR!  [author] Jul 3, 2016 @ 8:02am
@jack_flames Yeah, after we finished we both saw that the nose was too stubby but by then we'd had already been building for a good few hours trying to get it to work and so just accepted it how it was, although that doesn't mean I won't g back and edit it at some point.
Nyx (She/Her) Jul 2, 2016 @ 9:11pm
I forgot the Id numbers but the asymetrical jet/turbo prop combo BV plane would be cool to see.
★Red★ Jul 2, 2016 @ 7:50pm
should use 4 longs in the front
it makes the nose look better
arcuessp Jul 2, 2016 @ 7:04pm

@FourGreenFields Thanks for pointing that out, and Its what I read, It could be wrong but you never know.
FourGreenFields Jul 2, 2016 @ 2:36am
Spelling mistake: Seedrache, not Seadrache (allthough I've never heard it get called Seedrache).
