That's fairly accurate in how the Russian people initially felt in reality during World War II. They saw themselves as being liberated by the German army after decades of forced poverty and tyranny of a man who'd throw entire villages into work camps on a whim. The Nazi politicos quickly soured that good relationship with their racial philosophy and the behavior of the Einsatzgruppen death squads. It's tragic for them really. They nearly lost one tyrant only to have an equally horrific one forced on them, and in the process, were wasted by the millions as cannon fodder to protect one against the other.

The alternate history that goes with this mod presents something far more appealing though. A world where Nazism never existed and fascism couldn't take root because both were denied the fertile political landscape of the unhappy post-war period of our reality to flourish, and best of all, one where communism was crushed through force just as it always should be.

The alternate history scenario would technically be very unlikely especially that one of the reasons the french went to war in the first place was their revanchist attitude torward's alsace which they had a french minority their. Plus various other reasons like America becoming isolationist for no reason, the reason why America became isolation during the interwar period was because of their involvement in World War 1.

but nice mod though.

Please add "Götterdämmerung" as a/the name for Collossuses. It just sounds too cool for an apocalyptic weapon to not be in this mod.

@CountDL its the ASCII Code "alt"+0160, its an invisible Symbol, which connects the two words :) Try it out in word and make all symbols visible.

@all Sorry that it took so long, but the "von Hohenzollern" heir issue is fixed now, a simple ASCII Code was the solution. Could have managed that earlier. Have immersive fun :)

@CountDL, Thank for your tests. I found that out too lately, unfortunately the game doesnt pull the ruler name from the List anymore as soon as the first ruler name is generated. Instead it just takes the last word of the current ruler name, which is in our case Hohenzollern. I'm testing out some ASCII Codes now.

Ok, I figured a way to deal with the "von" problem: put the 'von' in regnal first names, like "Friedrich von". This way, the heir name will be shown as "Friedrich von Hohenzollern".
However, there is one issue about this method: when we get rulers with same names, let's say another Friedrich, it would appear as "Kaiser Friedrich von II"; which is pretty awkward. : /

I tried putting "-" or "." between the two words, then the "von" remains; but this doesn't seem to help. : /
Maybe we need some sort of 'connection' in between?

@CountDL I'm sorry, I could't figure out what is causing the issue yet. Further investigation is needed. The leader name in the list ist "von Hohenzollern", which should provide the proper name, but for some reason it doesn't, and I don't know why yet.

I think someone might have already asked this before, but the problem which heirs of the empire loss the "von" in their names is not yet been dealt with. This is a great mod, please don't let this problem kill our immersiveness, thank you!

Would you consider making this mod or a version of it compatable with NSC? Really like this mod so it's frustrating that it doesnt quite work with another favorite of mine.

Ist das normal, dass meine Kronprinzessin als Erbe z.B. nur "Viktoria Hohenzollern" heißt? Ohne "von"?
Weil das versprechen, dass der Herrscher mit diesem Mod immer "von Hohenzollern" heißt war so zu 80% der Grund warum ich ihn installiert hab :D
Oder wird da automatisch wieder ein "von" zwischen die Namen geschoben wenn sie dann Kaiserin wird?

great, i just finished a paradox mega campaign as prussia, and the planet was almost entirely the prussian culture(i conquered the world in europa, making victoria and HOI4 a waste of time but i finished them anyway) and it seemed odd that almost everyone in my empire seemed to spawn with every type of name other than a german name. thank you.

Klingt für mich so als hätte jemand ein ernstest Problem gehabt.

Was Manuelle Umbenennungen angeht hat ja jeder so seine Präferenzen.

zum Thema der wiederkehrenden Schiffsnamen kann man ja sagen dass es in der echten Welt auch üblich ist Schiffen den selben Namen wieder zu geben,(z.B Emden) um deren Tradition zu wahren. Leider kann man bei Stellaris nicht beeinflussen ob ein Name bei existierenden Schiffen mehrrmals auftaucht.

Ansonsten bin ich für jede Anregung offen.

Sehr witzig. Ich mach das schon die ganze Zeit manuell so. Bei mir heißt nur die erste Flotte Kriegsmarine und die Konstruktionsschiffe schon mal Atlas oder Herkules. 20-25er Planeten werden auch sinnvoll nach Jotunheim, Alfheim etc umbenannt. Bei Korvetten und Armeen schau ich irgendwann drüber weg, weil es nach Verlusten oft zu nervig wird, wieder alles in Hecht, Schwertfisch usw. umzubenennen. Divisionen tragen hin und wieder lokal bezogene Namen. Aber die Alexander von Humboldt, Jaques Cousteau und Charles Darwin gehen immer auf Reisen ;)
Ach ja, wir Deutschen kommen doch immer wieder auf die gleiche Handhabung :) Und am Rand, Finn, Elias (auch wenn es einer der Propheten ist) oder Jeremy-Pascal sind keine Namen, sondern geistige Zustände der Eltern, die das obere Körperende nur für den Friseurbesuch nutzen. Die Leute vergessen leider häufig, daß Kinder keine Puppen sind, sondern irgendwann Erwachsene mit eigenem Leben und eigener Persönlichkeit.

Aber zum Thema zurück, bei den Forschern und Anführern tauchen bei mir Urenkel von Peltier, Volta, Heisenberg, von Braun, Tammann, Lavoisier, Newton und viele mehr auf. Viele Grüße
