I couldn't get it to work on the steam workshop for some reason which just pulled all the wind out of my sails.
I'm thinking of making an achievement compatible human empire list but this total conversion is dead for now.
So apparently my mod does not play well with the normal method of uploading to the workshop. In all versions it works perfectly on my computer but the steam version always gets corrupted and crashes at galaxy load.
I will continue debugging this issue and hopefully we'll find a solution. Until further notice this mod is completely broken.
Please follow the following steps and report back to me so we can fix this issue!
1. Go to properties -> verify game cache and make sure there's no problems with your vanilla installation.
2. Start your game and make sure the only mod you have selected is After Earth.
3. Load up the game and make sure no broken or vanilla premade empires are set to spawn (usually the game does this for you).
4. Go to the galaxy setting screen and press the default button.
5. Start the game and see if it crashes.
6. If it still crashes please describe your empire, its authority, its civics, its graphics, etc...
If you're still getting crashes after all those steps we'll have to keep debugging.
Glad to see it's still going strong and even got an official release.
To those requesting a warhammer40k age of strife mod I definitely agree it would be absolutely brutal and amazing. Unfortunately it's very outside of the scope of my mod and I think the developers of the current 40k mods could give it much better justice than I could. Having said that I absolutely give permission to use this mod to create your own warhammermod! My only request is that you credit me and link back to this mod!
Have fun and remember to always exterminatus!
i subscribed but never tried it when it was 1.4 well hope the dev works on it cause me friends told meh all about it
The incoming Utopia DLC for Stellaris on April 6th means I will mostly be focusing on updating the mod upon its release.
Regardless, this mod is quite intriguing and I'll consider playing with it despite the CTD issue.
For example.
1. "Extradimensional invaders tore the galaxy apart and then vanished" +50 physics points
2. "Ravenous monsters from another galaxy consumed their way through the galaxy, leaving a path of destruction.: +50 society
3. "Men of iron rose up in the millions, causing anarchy" +50 engineering
4. These all sound stupid to me +150 Energy credits.
