The mission design is absolute garbage punishing the player for not having meta-knowledge of the mission before head - This whole campaign is a time waste that just feels like a bad game design- even when you do all the missions perfectly you dont get the satisfaction of dealing with a problem as you were forced to use cheese tactics and abusing AI instead of actual strategy in order to achieve victory... Maps look nice with lots of decoration details but missions are just infuriating bad... I strongly discourage to even try this mod it feels like a time waste unless you are a masochist and/or you don't value your own time

This mod is just a buggy, unfinished mess, I really didn't have any high expectations especially after what I've heard about this 'official campaign' but yet I got surprised with how bad it is

Wstydziłbym się nazywać tak niedokończony i olany produkt "oficjalną arabską kampanią" zwłaszcza na tle takich modów jak Sand of Siberia. Kampania z olbrzymim potencjałem porzuconą przez swoich twórców. Z taką ilością niedoróbek, że aż ręce opadają.

Pretty nice campaign but it's bugged. Last arabian mission (stay with arabs) second part when you have to destroy the siberite motherload - when i attack legion forces games crashes. Tried to start over, load the game nothing helps.

The second mission is very poorly thought out. You mustn't attack the base, otherwise you'll lose because you don't know exactly why you mustn't attack. I thought it was just because she was too well defended, but actually it wasn't. So you just have to kill the few soldiers lying around, but there is far too much time before the reinforcements for the little that there is to do. And since we must not attack the base, we stay at a distance, and when the reinforcements arrive, the scientists obviously have time to flee if we stayed away. Obviously, we can restart a game knowing all that, but the mission is very poorly done.

So i just downloaded the campaign, do i need to re-launch the main game? When i tried it and looked under mods i didn't find anything. Pretty sure i didn't miss a step after the download, Or maybe i'm looking in the wrong spot? any help would be appreciated.

So I got to mission 15 siding with Arabs. I play it on easy. And really the one who made this level shouldn't ever make any RTS levels. It sucks hard. The Legion which you have to eliminate with time ticking is on such high ground that you cannot win this with rockets and grenadiers because their flamers will reach you. So you should have a lot of autonomous bombs to go past it as fast as you can. It would only work if you would know how map looks beforehand, because in the end you get only what you got from earlier part of mission where you go in blind with knowledge that "legion is almost defeated and Russians have base on the siberite source". Well Legion isn't defeated and is the main enemy attacking you constantly. Then even if you capture enemy outpost you cannot even build barracks to train monkeys spawning around for kamikaze or build up anything else becasue there are no crates on the map... I'm really not sure I will be able to finish this mission. ON EASY.

First misions are fun, the last missions post mission 11 are the worst missions any RTS campaign can have. Tedious, boring, not creative in any way throwing waves and waves of enemies at you just because it can be done, With stupid side mission conditions like "gather resources" in a mission with time counter where you have to destroy 10 fully stacked bases with your crappy units like machine gun solar powered trike...

Would it be a good idea to have a dummy mission 12 instead? like the entire mission is just "pick which side you want" so at least you don't have to repeat mission 11

In the original campaigns choosing allegiance is done in the cutscene after going for the mission after mission 11, but as this mod doesn't have cutscenes we had to use an alternative method: Choosing to stay with the Arabians or join Legion is done as the very last part of mission 11. This creates an .snm file in your save profile which tells the game what option you chose. As such, yes unfortunately, it is necessary to complete mission 11 again if you want to pick differently.
Joining mods is not a simple feat but I like the thought :)

Hello :) Love your mod, replaying it for second time now :D i just want to ask, do we really need to start and finish Epsilon mission to get both Arabian and Legion? I just hate the wait without timer :D (you can reply in czech if you want) ....................................... also maybe a thought out of hand since i dont know all of you modders.............It would be nice to have Arabian Campaign mod with ReVamp mod and Sands of Siberia mod to make new Original War experience :)

(English Version) Yeah, I have tried reboot the mission from scratch and cant seem to get past it. Not game breaking, but stopping me getting that desired third medal :( I have watched Iroks guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRjFIIt_stg and it seems the lightening symbol (power in the main base) doesn't activate when the siberite power plant is built. I have to only assume that its an issue with the version of the game? I have tried use the basic and upgraded version of the main depot yet neither provides the option. Basically i cannot activate the siberite power plant to start the power drain / study

Hi - I have the issue on mission 7 that i cannot activate / deactivate the siberite power plant. There is no button in the depot ~ i am running version 3.09.250. Any hints on what to do?

If you're steam account speaks the truth about your language being French then I can see there is an error in the objection description in that language (and some others too). It's 350 crates AND oil, not just crates.

I'm softlocked at mission 3, the eastern base counts up the crates and oil but upon ending the mission it says I haven't collected enough and that ending the mission will result in losing it, and it does.

It's difficult at first but it is possible.
the real problem is the American sniper, they hit so hard but if you play with the terrain.
And there you have it, the American base destroyed.

Ah I guess this is because you manage to beat the Americans before UPF shows up. I keep getting surprised by how good some players are haha :) It's not that easily fixed, though, because the events triggered by UPF are somewhat important to the plot. The mission should complete when you have repelled them but I agree it's awkward.

I have finish multiple time the arabian campaign and i thing a see everything but we have one mission which has a little bug, the second mission of the legion if we attack too early the american base, objectif are accomplish but the mission continue.

Just finished the campaign with (almost) all medals, great fun and very challenging at times! Thank you for your incredible work!

Hm. It would seem Steam doesn't move the Workshop content to the mod folder - or they don't sync or something. I had to move the mod from the Worshop folder into the OW folder for it to show up.

I would guess the game gets confused by you using a "." in your profile name "Predet.". It invalidates the path to the save file.

I cannot start the campaign. First mission, after Heike gets into EON. CRASH with this error:

Does anyone else having issues with running the mod in the version 3.0? It doesnt show up in the campaign selection and in mod folder is only "OW balance mod"
Switching it on doesnt add the new campaign to the campaign selection either.
Am I overlooking something?

Oh like that. Sorry, google translate is all I have :) The developer chooses the limit, if any. If there is a limit then it's intended for balancing purposes. If you are technically inclined you could break open the mod and remove the limit but this forum is not the right place to explain exactly how.
