Please update this mod for Sunset Harbor. This mod is tied to so many assets and it is a must have in larger cities.

Are there any plans to update this for Industries? It was the best auto emptying mod here, allowing for the best flexibility.

I've found a minor flaw. I play using Real Time, so it's most convinent for me to empty the landfills in the night. But if you set your emptying time with "start" value higher than "stop" (eg. 22:00 to 5:00) the mod won't work at all.

What's a good strategy for managing landfills? automatic emptying seems to work fine with the graveyards. since it seems only crematoriums send out cars to pick up the corpses from the graveyards. graveyards only collect corpses they do not deliver to the crematoriums.

but for garbage, when you empty the landfill, the landfill itself sends out trucks to deliver the garbage. the problem is the landfill capacity is significantly greater than the incinerator so what ends up happening the garbage trucks are driving around to the incinerators and then they are all full then they circle back filling up other landfills. and then of course when the other landfills get full since the incinerators couldn't store it all, the cycle repeats. then there just ends up with a continuous cycle of landfills taking taking turns emptying themselves with garbage trucks clogging my roads.

Found a bug. If the mod is enabled and you go to the asset editor it throws up an endless number of errors.

Hello! I also have issues with trash and medical panels. UI is not working properly after choosing of one of these panels. I can only regulate the second slider in schedule and nothing else. And I can close panels only using ESC button on my keyboard. Contact me, please, if you have some information about how to fix it. Thanx :)

Doesn't seem to work after Parklife update. And -if enabled- it also prevents manual emptying both on cemeteries and landfills

I subscribe to this discussion. I'm having the same problem also. when I click on Garbage icon or Stats icon I only can change the schedule... nothing else on the UI is working. Only ESC give you back the control to the game closing that menu. @Sottam, you can contact me if you need testers or any other help. :sadelf:

One thing I did notice when the issue was happening: The emptying threshold is stuck at 1% to 2%, and clicking and dragging anywhere above or below the sliders causes the lower time slider to move, even if I am nowhere near that slider.

Well, I am having trouble finding the cause. So far I can only identify that it's happening on one of my save games, but I don't know why there would be anything different about that save. I tested it with all of my mods I normally use on new cities and when loading other cities and it doesn't happen. Wish I could be more helpful.

I just tested with this mod being the only one enabled and it worked fine. I will try to narrow it down and figure out which mod is not playing nice with this one.

Guys, I tried to reproduce the bugs you have reported. However, I could reproduce the not emptying issue, ok. But, none of the UI problems I was able to reproduce. Any of you can precisely tell me the steps to reproduce the UI bug? thx

Yep the added window with UI percentrange and UI time range cause this problem, wenn you select medical or trash building, press b the UI window disappreas and you can select one of the buildings, unfortunately when you select one, the UI window comes back and the same problem again^^

and to change the parameter it make now diffrent where you click at the screen, it seams that the "window" for this function = screen of the entire game.

Same here, the only thing that works after you click the medical or trash button is the mouse at the clock symbol. It changes the parameter, not more not less.

Oh, the same applies to all medical buildings as well, sorry. Everything having to do with trash or medical is not relocateable or buildable.

Alright, so I've got a really serious problem. I've already isolated it to this mod because I've done a deactivate test, then I can get around the problem.

I can't reloacte my incinerators. I can't build new incinerators. As I'm just into the yellow on capacity, that means that I can't expand my city. Like at all. Also, I can't move the sliders in the menu for Auto-Empty. I have zero control over the functions of this mod.

I can't deactivate the mod because apparently Extended Networks has created a dependency on it somehow, so that's out.

I've never had this problem before, and I noticed you updated the mod only a few days ago. If you could help me in any way, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have absolutely no idea what's going on, but right my city's not playable.

Did some tests adding Realistic population and Citizen Lifecycle Rebalance mods, all of it tested on 81 tiles uncovered... When a landfill empties, there must be enough incinerators to cover all garbage production plus more to get landfill stuff (although trucks never go to the incinerators, surprisingly). Once it emptied, then all gets back to normal... Well almost, as there are too many incinarators now - some can be switched off (automated function would be useful maybe). But that was tested with landfill only. It will get complicated when there's more of them (maybe they should be together with a bunch of incinarators for the ease of managing all of it). Number of garbage trucks was back to normal once incineretors where defunctioned/switched off.

I reckon it's better to correct my comments - seems that if it doesn't work with other mods, remove it and enjoy a total control in a dictatorship style.
Or let's try to add this mod seperately into the game and see if that works. But i assume that games already started, won't get improved by removing and re-adding Automatic Emptying to your mod-family - if it does, please let us all know.
We are all waiting for better solutions.

Now... I have only some basic mods to help create and rise a town quickly - some included in vanilla game, and better budget as the only one from outside of it, tested it for some other reasons. It seems this mod actually works now... There glitches caused either by other mods or simply by adding too many at the same time (I've seen this mentioned as a probable reason of problems although I'm not sure of this one). As previously no trucks from landfills or incinerators were being issued to start emptying - or to some there was never ending emptying - i just had gone through the cycle twice... thrice now... All started to work. ...

oh @TomSawyerll - how come i haven't seen your comment a week ago when checking on here :)
I just tested it and now I am absolutely sure that this mod doesn't work - soon emptying starts, amount of trucks in use drops down to 0-2 and no one is emptying the landfills... In my previous game they might have been emptying them but the amount of trucks in use never went back to full capabilities of each of the incinerators or landfills.
Lets' go back to the other mod then.

BUT: The original old mod from Sandler WORKS in current CS Version! So unsubscribe here and subscribe "old" mod and you are fine again!

Well, that's half of what is wanted. Before one had to empty it AS WELL as refill it. Now one only need notice when it empty, not also when it is full. Some would prefer to notice neither when it is empty or full. I would just prefer to go to sleep and let someone else pay attention to my city and all its details and issues...

This seems to have so much potential and if the stopping of auto emptying after it is empty can be resolved it would be a great mod to use :)
