Roads United Core+ crashed my laptop more than 20 times. No thanks.
BigPapa_Škoda May 25, 2019 @ 11:49am

Papa Palpatine Apr 8, 2017 @ 6:16am
Why my streets are so dark and not so lightly how the streets on the picture
???
fram102 Feb 19, 2017 @ 10:43pm
Do you kow if there is a mod with a bus lane AND a bike lane? if not can you make it? that would be AWSOME!
Theyoyokill68 Dec 4, 2016 @ 9:27am
But it's too bad !
In this mod the roads are pretty and the textures are real. While in the mod "Road plus" it is too ugly and not real ...
y4wgmoth Dec 1, 2016 @ 3:22pm
I fixed the problem I was having with bright areas at intersections, I got rid of the other 2 road texture packs and it's now fine. My only gripe now is that network extensions has two new roads, asymmetrical roads... they don't have yellow lines cause this texture pack isn't updated for them. However I won't use the new version that I assume will be updated because highways remain very bright when zoomed in and it looks hella ugly. Even if I brighten all my other roads the highways never seen to match their shade (and I don't like bright roads). Just looks bad when the highways are way brighter than the rest of my roads. Any chance you could update this one again and add yellow lines to the two new asymmetrical roads? This version just seems much better than the new version because you can change the highway colors. I know modding is time consuming but I'd be willing to donate $25+ for you to add yellow lines to the new roads or a way to darken highways on the newer version.
ØZI Dec 1, 2016 @ 1:31am
Pls fix it...
y4wgmoth Nov 29, 2016 @ 11:42pm
This version still works fine after the natural disasters version except for one thing, now if I intersect a highway or connect a highway to another type of road theres a bright texture at the intersection. I use this version because you can change the highways to darker which you cannot do with the newer version but this issue is just as big of a problem to me, anyone have any idea if this problem is caused by Natural Disasters or perhaps another mod thats broken from Natural Disasters? This always worked fine before the update.
mattloveOHIOST5 Nov 19, 2016 @ 11:53am
Does this not work? Have it enabled and selected under Roads United Core +... and US edition works, this doesnt
Geliboy Sep 10, 2016 @ 1:41pm
hi @KraIstGerecht :) Is it possible to color the sidewalk strip in red on streets don't have parking space ?
doctapeppaman Aug 21, 2016 @ 4:13pm
(3/3) Double solid yellow lines are used, as your mentioned, when overtaking in the oncoming traffic lane is prohibited for either direction at that point of the road. Other times, there is one solid yellow line and one broken yellow line. Here, crossing the center of the road to overtake in permitted only for the direction of traffic whose roadway is marked by the dashed yellow line. Other times, there may be only a single dashed yellow line, in which case overtaking with care is permitted for either direction. See http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/knowledge/faqs/faq_part3.htm
doctapeppaman Aug 21, 2016 @ 4:12pm
(2/3) These are often used to separate lanes of a multilane roadway where lane changes may be completed after checking that the lane is clear and that the lane change may be completed without violating the right-of-way of any vehicle already in possession of the lane. In a standard two-lane road with one lane of travel in opposing directions, there exist a solid white line on each of the two outer edges of the road. In between the lanes (in the "median", albeit perhaps a 5 cm one) there is often either a pair of parallel yellow lines, one to mark each lane's inner edge, or a single yellow line.
doctapeppaman Aug 21, 2016 @ 4:12pm
(1/3) @Benny : Under the standards of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), individual roadways (that is, contiguous sections of road intended for motor and vehicle traffic in a particular direction) are designated by a white line on the right edge and a yellow line on the left edge. Lanes on a multiple-lane roadway are separated by white lines. Solid lines are used where crossing the line is prohibited or discouraged, such as marking the curb, restricting lane changes approaching an at-grade junction, or indicating where traveling in lane intended for oncoming traffic is restricted. Dashed lines are used where crossing the line is permitted when done in compliance with any applicable local laws and reasonable standards of safe vehicle operation.

@KralstGerecht Thanks for the heads up. Of course the sooner the better but I absolutely understand that these things are much much easier said than done. Knowing that at least something is being done, even if it'll take a bit, is miles better than nothing :) Your reskin is by far the best one I have found to get my roads looking like US/North America ones.
KraIstGerecht  [author] Aug 15, 2016 @ 12:48pm
@Sir Augwich I would fix it right away if Roads United offered a way to do so. Boformer is working on a feature that lets you change road texture via network skins, which would probably be enable players to fix the issue. But you'll have to be patient and wait for that feature to be available, which unfortunately won't be too soon afaik.
Curvaceous Mite Aug 12, 2016 @ 6:54pm
I understand the reasoning for two-lane one ways having a yellow line down the middle, but if there is any possible way to fix this I would love you forever. I love this mod but the fact that I have yellow lines down my one-way streets is nearly mod-breaking for me (I know, I know, maybe I'm just picky. I guess I just like my realism ;) ).
BARZKET Aug 10, 2016 @ 5:34am
it didn't work to me, someone can help me to tell me how to use it or how to open that mod?
mjaredm Aug 1, 2016 @ 5:46pm
This is awesome! Would it be possible to have a settings option to keep straight-only arrows, or just get rid of them on the highways and keep them on roads?
Ketchup Man Jul 31, 2016 @ 7:33am
@Bartholome Make sure you go into settings and enable them
Bartholome Mitre Jul 24, 2016 @ 12:50pm
Roads wont show... :(
Cαиυcкѕ Jul 22, 2016 @ 7:53pm
Why don't the American roads show? I don't even have the old American roads mod but I also have Network Extesions enabled. Is that the problem?
STORM_15 Jul 21, 2016 @ 8:46am
Please put the yellow lines on the highways I really want it, even if it goes on to the wrong side.
I WANT IT !
deoxyribonucleic Jul 18, 2016 @ 1:04pm
One thing to note is that all textures have appeared except for large one way roads. They have no road markings whatsoever; just a free-for-all of lanes - kind of like in that one Seinfeld episode... ;-)
KraIstGerecht  [author] Jul 18, 2016 @ 11:40am
@deoxyribonucleic Thanks! That might help other players who experience the same problem.
deoxyribonucleic Jul 18, 2016 @ 10:53am
I got it to work. Initially, the North American textures wouldn't display with either Core or Core+, but Unlawful's new US road textures mod would with the latter. After loading a game with the US textures, I uninstalled that US texture pack, reinstalled this North American one and voila - it now works.
Unlawful Enemy Combatant Jul 18, 2016 @ 10:25am
You have to unsub the older Roads United Core Mod and sub to Core+
KraIstGerecht  [author] Jul 18, 2016 @ 10:24am
@Blue_Suede_Duck @deoxyribonucleic I have no idea what the problem could be, but since Unlawful Combatant just released the Roads United Core+ mod whcih should be compatible with this pack, I suggest you try Core+ instead of the old Core Mod and see if that fixes it. I haven't had the chance to try Core+ myself yet, but I hope it helps!
RootinTootinCowboy Jul 17, 2016 @ 11:20am
Is anyone one going to answer?, I'd really like this to work.
deoxyribonucleic Jul 17, 2016 @ 9:49am
I'm also having an issue where the textures will not display. I had this mod working yesterday, I uninstalled it to try another texture pack, and upon reinstalling it (just Core + North American) I cannot seem to get any textures to display.
Unlawful Enemy Combatant Jul 16, 2016 @ 11:56pm
Hey, just want to let you know that I'm now maintaining RoadsUnited Core. Couldn't figure out how to add my update so I uploaded a new version with killface's permission. It's Roads United: Core+. I needed to overhaul the file/path/naming conventions to be easier to use. It's also backwards compatible.
Jey Jul 9, 2016 @ 11:54am
Hi friends! Pleаse, tell me: how build gravel road in the map editor? Mod name?
RootinTootinCowboy Jul 3, 2016 @ 8:40pm
I also have this problem I enable the texture pack in the core mod and then the textures don't show up.
Cαиυcкѕ Jul 2, 2016 @ 5:20pm
why don't I see the American design? I have the United Core Mod installed and everything. It should be compatable and I also have Network Extensions Mod.
kj3400 [Dankineer Prime] Jun 22, 2016 @ 12:25am
Is there a way to disable the 2 lane road textures until the one way/road texture issue is resolved?
Copeus Copium Jun 15, 2016 @ 5:37am
Would be nice if someone made a American road mod that doesn't represent Detroit's roads as American roads.
OuTSMoKE Jun 11, 2016 @ 5:23pm
American one-way roads dont have yellow lines in the middle, yellow means two way trffic. The two lane one way shoudl have a dashed white going down the middle (on all styles).
GlutenFreeHugs May 31, 2016 @ 4:54am
Hi, I noticed that the 8 lane road w/ median has the same texture as the 4 lane road w/ median. i.e. you can only see the lane markings for 4 lanes instead of 8 for the 8 lane road. I think this is a new road and therefore the texture might not be updated Will it be added to this mod, along with the other new roads by NExt?
[SSU]yenyang May 27, 2016 @ 8:30am
2 lane one ways should have dashed white lines instead of solid yellow lines. otherwise looks great
mattloveOHIOST5 May 26, 2016 @ 6:31pm
dragonslayerthethird He recommends it and that mod is made to correspond with this mod. So yes.
Dr Woozie May 25, 2016 @ 12:04pm
does it work for AmericanRoadSigns???
benscha May 20, 2016 @ 11:46am
Cool, fits well in in for me, as Norway is the only country in Europe which too uses yellow lines to seperate oncoming traffic, but one thing puzzles me, why so much double lines? In my country they are used very rarely to prohibit overtaking. I would prefer country roads without double lines (this goes for the German theme as well)
OviaZ May 19, 2016 @ 6:04am
great mod ! but si it compatible with road colors ?
Tex May 18, 2016 @ 7:10pm
Great mod! The roads are unusually dark by default. I had to max out the texture brightness setting to get them to look like the ones in your screenshots.
ViccyQ May 17, 2016 @ 2:55pm
Man I wish there was a less RAM intensive Texture Pack.
kman10001bd May 17, 2016 @ 12:38pm
Looks nice. It would be great if there were yellow lines on the highways. I don't know why the 2 lane one ways have the yellow lines in them. Other than that, great textures.
jboord44 May 17, 2016 @ 5:29am
Same problem as pretty much every road texture pack, and that is it disappears upon zoom out. I think I'm done getting my hopes up that we will ever actually get a road texture set that actually works. American Roads is the most functional, but it doesn't actually change texture that much.
knightriderlv2 May 15, 2016 @ 8:51pm
Finally, we get American roads... Yippee. I did notice something, when you use the American theme the pedestrian walkway lines are not white anymore I know where I live the pedestrian walkway area at intersections have big white bars going across. Also the bus line markings are not showing up in American theme. I agree with PFC_Unkown_Soldire can we get American street signs.
I want to say thank you KralstGerecht for this mod.
PFC_Unknown_Soldier May 14, 2016 @ 9:58pm
Can you add the american street signs as in the old 'american roads' mod by hyperdrive_engage?
Subruh May 14, 2016 @ 9:35pm
did you use a lut for that picture of the mod??
STORM_15 May 14, 2016 @ 11:55am
IT DEFINITELY DESERVES THE 5 STARS.
