@garyfortolan63 thanks for reminding me to remove the 'subscribe all' button. it's not just about the the props, but a person should read the workshop page before subscribing. Some assets may require certain mods to function, or might be a huge file size with a 100 assets or whatever. But it's just always best to read the description, although my assets are primarily just buildings, they are still technically "mods" and a player that knowingly mods their game without reading the description should be injected with disinfectant

On the subject of "subscribe to all",I've learned NOT to do that so much anymore.Too many times their are dependent props. That being said...I don't find it too difficult either to go to the loading screen mod report and sub missing assets from there.it's quick. And yes,you have to exit the game to do so,but it's not that bad on my machine. As a rule,if there are 10 -15 assets in a subscribe to all,I'll subscribe to all.If more,I get more selective,as sometimes I find I don't really need "all."

So this guy is asking the same person who spent countless hours making these and sharing them with the everyone. And I'm not talking about just throwing 4 walls up and roof but making details like a 'dirty mattress' (for the projects lol ) to take more time to make a file that's all in one assets so HE does not have to push a button a few extra more times???????

@KingLeno Well you do make a good god damned point!

Is there not a way for the "Loading Screen Mod" to give you a list of all items used on a map or SaveGame when it loads?
I have created collections for each of the standard asset tags and am slowly changing over my Favourites & Subscribed lists in to these collections.
Then I can either use that mod that allows you to select which ever collection I want to be auto subscribed to or I can use the well documented manual way.

Awesome Job On these! I could not find others like these!
Heints Apr 9, 2019 @ 3:13pm
Still this game would benefit, as would others with all in one collections. You do have to spend hrs then trial and error. Not saying it's possible without much time and extended dedication to maintain any mod collection but most don't have time or will get overwhelmed. This game though considering hundreds of thousands of assets I never actually played a game rather tested mods and put aside. When going back for real this apartment collection is great, without issues, much enjoyed.

@mr.necrophile should never subscribe to a collection like that. it SHOULD be a 20 minute job, you should read the description of everything unfortunately. Some items may contain DLC, some may require mods, some may just be outdated and have newer models available.

surprisingly, i'm quite the lazy one myself, and imagine the time it would take for me to go to each asset, add every prop used to a collection, update this collection, and then update the prop collection every time I add a new asset to this collection. I'm certain you'd rather have me spend my time creating assets, than updating collections :-)
Mr.Necrophile Apr 6, 2019 @ 2:50am
Have to agree, I know it's being lazy but having the props for every building would make it a one-click job. Turns a 20minute job into a 5 second job.
Heints Feb 7, 2019 @ 12:52pm
Very nice collection. Would have been user friendly to add props.

@macerook i have no idea about any questions related to realistic pop mod, i've never used it. in regards to props for assets....no prop is absolutely "necessary" but the solution is to go to each individual page and read before subscribing, which is what you're supposed to do. and it will tell you which props are used in the asset.

Hi!
Good work with all those assets, they look awesome! Thanks a lot!
Just a question, that bothers me, the simple "I wanna have some nice houses" man, is there any collection around with the necessary props for these houses? Since Steam doesn't tell you "hey, those are the necessery other workshop items/mods/etc needed for what you wanna subscribe to in one click".
about the below mentioned problem with RICO and Realistic Population:
As far as I know the problem of having only 1 household in presumably bigger apartments when using RICO and Realistic population lies in the interaction between those too mods (it occurs apparently also with other assets from other authors)
KingLeno  [author] May 17, 2018 @ 12:28pm
@surfnbird nope. I don't know. sounds like you should contact the mod. Or just use Rico. Because Realistic Population calculates size by the volume inside the 3d model. So lots of models that are divided like these and have smaller space inside the 3d model, the mod takes that to mean that its a small model. I've never used the mod myself though.

First off your work is amazing and I use your assets quite often. I recently started playing the game with realistic population. Your apartments only count as 1 family with the realistic population. So, I had to remove them from my game. Is there a fix for this? Any suggestions?
Ivanish Mar 1, 2018 @ 11:21pm
I recently started playing C:S again after a longer absence and I set out to find new assets to update my collection. I found your workshop page... and I quickly realised I can base my new asset collection on your amazing work!
Just... wow! Thanks a lot for all your hard work creating all your great assets!
