nice work with naxramas @arthas menethil. you can't import all models cause some are to complex and you will never find any of them somewhere in internet, i don't know a way to extract it out of the gamefiles directly except the wow modelviewer. with the modelviewer you can mod armors, wow characters and weapons. but no bigger dungeonstructure. all structures are divided in several parts, you have to combine it a new way with an 3d program, convert into a form thats compatible with skyrim and then the next problem is to fit the texture.

Hiya, I'm making a Naxxramas dungeon mod and I need to know how to import WoW models into Skyrim. Since you did it already I was wondering if you could teach me how to do it as well? Thanks. Also if you want to check it out here's a video showing what I've done so far:

Possibly the greatest small building mod out there...

Add more buildings! Naxxramas would be a good one, or rather, the Necropolis model :)

Thats not Forsaken, it is infact alliance. Its just that most houses that look like this have been taken over by the Forsaken.

This is really cool! Just one thing, can you make it so there is an interior like an abandoned house in Duskwood? It'll look cool and maybe you can make the chairs inside of the house actually "sit-able". I honestly don't know how to manipulate the camera in CK.
eagardh May 16, 2012 @ 8:11am
Even though some may find this "objectionable", thank you for your efforts.

You see... not all people that purchased Skyrim can use the CK... for the CK is always "Unavailable" to us, no matter what we do or how many times we re-install it.

So I thank you for creating what you have, and for sharing.

Either way it's good work in the end depends on if Blizzard gets butthurt from Non-profit appreciation of there housing styles used in game and applied to a Single player game and uploaded for others.

Blizzard may have tons of refrences, but they aren't taking actual assets (Property of one's product(s)) though. Linken for example isn't an elf, while the real Link is a elf in looks (Kind of). Plus, Linken was made for humor reasons. However, as far as I'm aware, you can get in trouble for things such as your conversion there unless it's a completely private modification, and by completely private, I mean not available to those outside of you. I'm only saying this to help you not be a target for Blizzard to come down on for copyright infringement. Now I can't stop you from continuing, but I'm just trying to help you know that you're within range of Blizzard for them to take egal action against you if they catche wind of this.

otherwise 'some companys' do almost convert everything to their games for example quest, storys, npc or what ever but did they ask anybody?
jared_de_molay  [author] May 6, 2012 @ 8:25am
ok thanks for the comments, but don't forget these converted things aren't for business. they're only converted for fun, to show that it's possible and to add more differnet arts to the game for more unique landscapes. i don't like the fact seeing almost the same style at every edge of the map. sure i could do some joke by adding a wow gnome in front of the house to cover me for some reason, but i don't think i need to cover cause 'some companys' which coukl get angry aren't really a problem.
LHAV May 6, 2012 @ 5:14am
yeah thats definetly Copyright infringment if you wanna do this mod I highly recommend you make it some form of a parody or scratch the idea blizzard can get on to you for this far as my knowledge of the law goes which isn't much but....yeah only way to protect doing this is making is a joke cause those are protected...could be wrong but yeah.
SavyVault TTV May 6, 2012 @ 5:11am
You may want to be careful with things such as this dude. It's always great to see converted stuff from other things (My opinion at aleast) but "some company" might come down on you for things like this if taken directly from their product(s). You're better off making a new model for it and with new textures to avoid legal stuff. Other than that, good job converting it. :)
