having issues with this mod not refunding me the health/stam/magik points. Its gives me one point and thats it

Just used this. The potion reset my skill points, but it also reset my skill levels for Stealth & Lockpicking back to the default levels. My Stealth was 100 but after the pot it was back to 15. Lockpicking was reset from 70 back to 15 also. My other skills, such as 1 handed etc remained unaffected.

It gives you a number of perk points equal to the number of perks it removes from your character.

Does it count up how many perk points to refund you based on how many you've assigned, or based on your level? There are a few mods out there now which offer ways to get extra perk points(most notably the one that lets you trade Dragon Souls for them). So if I'm level 50(49 perk points), and I've bought 6 more with Dragon Souls, will your mod give me back 49, or 55?

I have not found Elgrim to have any respec pots in the all the time I have been using this mod =(

The mod is to respec your character. Unless I'm wrong about the mechanics of smithing, having smithing perks for light armor should give me the ability to enhance them, no? If I'm wrong, I apologize. I reassigned my perks from heavy smithing to light smithing. I thought Id be able to enhance my light armor sets further.

That doesn't really have anything to do with this mod.

I reset my smithing so I can improve light armor. However, when I go to do so it says I lack the skill. I can't improve Heavy anymore either. When selecting the item in question (Light) it says Flawless still, same with a piece of heavy armor, says Legendary. Wont let me enhance though on either. Yes I have the required materal :)

If it gave you 25 perks, then it only removed 25 perks.

I'm level 38, I repsec and get 25 perks back. WHAT GIVES, DUDE?

I like this mod but with the release of the Dragonborn DLC I won't be using it anymore. Thanks for having this option available before Bethesda decided to put their own way into the game. I will still be keeping it favorited though as it was an excellent mod for the time that i used it.

i went to the alchemy shop in whiterun and i didn't see the potion for respeccing
(sorry the gem offering was for another respec mod that isn't working lol)

I have no idea what master gem offering and lesser gem offering are.

No matter what I do it doesnt seem to work anymore for me. I used a couple versions ago with skse and it worked back then, but when I use the potion now without skse it only shows the messages to not use the skill menu so I dont do anything until it tells me it is done. Then I check skill menu and nothing changed. I saved the game loaded again tryed several potions after each other no change :(

Can anyone confirm this behavior or is it my savefile that's glitching?

Hello Mesmerizedish, awesome mod, thank you for making it. As I am a perfectionis, this mod has really helped me out immensely without having to restart the whole game, as I do EVERYTHING. :))

However, I was wondering, is it possible to add functionality to respecc everything and I mean, not just the perks, but the Stats as well? If you can do this, oh boy, it would be the most amazing mod for me and many others on the workshop and on Nexus. I sure do hope you see this, as I can see the last comment has been quite a while ago.

What version of SKSE is reported in the bottom-left corner of the menu when you press Esc?

Even though I have a newer version of SKSE (1.5.11 rel 27) it says my version is "not the required version" and won't let respec.

Good mod. Downloaded and installed both the SKSE and Respec mod without a problem. I can finally get rid of that buggy paralyze skill in archery, yay.

You're confusing the runtime version with the loader version. The last loader version (as of this writing) is 1.5.11.

I have the newest SKSE version required; 1.7.7.0 which was released on August 4, so how do I not have the "required" version of SKSE? Does your mod require an earlier version of the SKSE, or what?

Works great, sometimes removing and adding perks causes unforseen glitches. Many of these glitches are recorded on the console command pages of the wikis.

after i used the potion everything was fine but my character seemed to retain the ability from the perk ranger which made him run with bows drawn even though he is not supposed to anymore. Why is that happening?
