Sure! Go right ahead. You might want to use the armed version (link in the description), it has higher freeboard and a rudimentary anti-roll control system making it more practical.

anyway i love the ship its very nice and i could use a floating refinery that looks modern and can be upgraded with weapons

and just to be clear, almost the entire arsenal of the german army with ships planes and tanks from world war 2 that were designed and built by the nazies is available right here on this games workshop and yet the number of neo nazies world wide remained relatively unchanged, just a thought....

Just to clear the air, I made this ship in both a wooden / unarmed and lightly armored merchant cruiser variant to act as a future aggressor in a Whale Wars style Antarctic confrontation scenario or custom campaign.

I can't think of a better way to promote conservationism than designing these units and scenarios and I intended my earlier reply as a tongue in cheek "o rly" sort of way. I mean if you are offended by a freaking virtual ship, go blow it up. That's why I enjoy making stuff for this game!

Where does it say this person supports whaling? And how would this even support whaling? Its not like some criminal is going to look at this ship for inspiration and say, 'Hey! This motivates me to slaughter countless sea life for a portion of their carcass and throw the rest away!" This is a finely made ship in the game and I personally dont see how this is offensive, if you are against animal hunting, go outside and contribute to that, instead of telling people that its offensive. I dont think whaling or etc is okay either, but its A SHIP. And the game isnt near dead if tons of people play it and create good ships. Also, I'm in no way trying to create an argument, I just dont see how that makes sense. And this ship was IRL created in 1987, when it was popular. And now, its not, and its criminal. And please dont accuse someone of not being mentally okay, they could be genuinley be not okay. <3

Tacky people, tacky things, If I wanted to....'vent' I would downvote and report, but I didn't, and someone who builds whaling and anti-whaling "fleets" on a near-dead game has no base to tell someone else to get a life.

If I find someones work offensive I will say something, If you don't like that maybe you shouldn't post things that can offend people, then act surprised that something offensive actually offends someone.

Internet or not, game or not, have at least a little bit of class please. This is like posting a swastika and expecting it not to offend anyone simply because it has multiple meanings.

Are you aware I also build (surprise!) a unit type called.. anti whaling patrol boats? Get a life instead of venting on peoples' random creations. If you want to save dolphins go build up the Sea Shepherd hulls and help me with the rest of Neptune's Navy.

In the meantime, from the MARITIME ENGINEERING perspective, a factory ship like Nisshin Maru is excellent as a mobile base ship in campaign play. Just need some torpedoes and depth charges for the eventual encounter with Pequods. Which by the way, is a submarine.
