No i was actually building them in really fast running water, when i tried building in calmer water they worked fine. Thanks for the reply tho.

@CyberVibes are you perhaps building the quays in a dry area? If you don't have water the game gets confused on which side the quay should be facing. It takes some getting used to.

@pnevma yes, there are several different custom quays on the workshop, e.g some with paths, fences, cobbled sides etc. Industrial quays with tyres etc

In the vanilla game upgrading/changing quays was introduced with the Bridges and Piers content pack which included new quays, but is broken if this mod is enabled, so RON can be used instead

Quays are useful for creating sunken highway areas as well as waterside, but to place them inland (not alongside water) you still need this mod

Same isssue as Jalendaperson

this mod doesn't show in my in game mods list

@ag47 doesn't work with road anarchy, I just tried

@kavey what do you upgrade quays into? do you use modded assets? i didnt know i could even upgrade quays in vanilla

I doubt this is even needed if you have road anarchy enabled

Since the CCP update with new quays, the ability to upgrade quays is now in vanilla, but is broken if this is enabled. I still use this to build quays for sunken areas as this is still useful, but use RON now to replace quays if needed as a workaround.

Sadly the quay upgrade tool doesn't work :(
