But black is not good for camo... It sticks out even in the dark.. Grey is better for night areas, Plus normal camo also blends in at night and at day too.

Fantastic idea! I did find it rather odd to be dressed all in shiny metal armour and sneaking up on an unsuspecting target! Adds a new level of realism to the game. Now I can switch into my (ahem) "civvy" outfit when I return to town ^_^

Damn. I don't think this works with Ordinator...

Ninja don't wear all black and cover their faces. Ninja wore common civilian clothing. If you're going to sneak you'd want subdued civilian clothing.

May I suggest moving all falmer armors to one category better? I think the armor fits the idea of dark or natural colors, and if you think about how hard chaurus are to see in the dark, it might make more sense. Would make me very happy.

this works with ordinator?

How do you determine this with mod armour?
Klaudius May 7, 2017 @ 2:46am

Great mod. I produced an unenchanted set of nightingale armor (I think the mod's called Smithing 2.0) at the forge and gave it some custom enchantments and the mod even works with this. Full bonuses applied. Thanks for your work!

Thank you for this, one of the best mods around. Simple but practical and adds realism to the game.

Despot Jensen maybe but whats more stealthy? Black or standard clothing? And what do most people associate with stealth? (The answers are black and ninjas)
Despot Jensen Feb 5, 2017 @ 7:19am
historicly ninja did not wear black they would wear regular clothes or navy blue

Ghostinstinct: (1) Good idea! (2) Uninstalling will return everything to normal (restarting Steam and choosing Online might be required).

does this mod work w/ the agility mod?
okayc Nov 12, 2016 @ 10:43am
I'd love to install this, because it'd probably help my thief playthroughs a lot! However, I just wanted to ask two things:
1. Have you ever considered making a mod that helps or hinders your ability to sneak based on how much you're carrying? I mean, it doesn't really make sense that I can sneak around while carrying 1,000 pounds of random crap and be just as hidden as someone carrying just their armor. (Of course, it'd probably be really hard to code -- I'm not sure because I'm not into coding, I just thought it was an interesting thought.)
2. Is there anything I should know about uninstalling? Will it cause errors if I uninstall and open a save slot that involved this mod, or no?

sp0ckrates: What about changing map markers in color (e.g. gold instead of whiteish) whenever the dungeon was completed?
Thanks for offering support but im just impressed by the products, not interested in making them myself. And thanks for your reply.
sp0ckrates  [author] Jun 28, 2016 @ 4:45pm
Dickward: The mod doesn't change any armor. It simply improves the perks.
gallant10 Jun 28, 2016 @ 2:40pm
no, i mean, does this mod affect daedric armor ?
sp0ckrates  [author] Jun 28, 2016 @ 2:08am
Dickward: What would you like done with it?
gallant10 Jun 28, 2016 @ 1:33am
what about daedric armor ?
sp0ckrates  [author] Jun 25, 2016 @ 5:13pm
Do you have an idea for a mod you'd like to make? I could help you get started.
sp0ckrates  [author] Jun 25, 2016 @ 5:12pm
Prime: This one took a little while, because I tested each armor type in-game. Others don't take as long. I've been learning as I go, making Skyrim mods for about 2 1/2 years, now.
Anonymous Prime Jun 25, 2016 @ 9:46am
Holy moly, this is just the thing I wanted but never knew about. I really like the idea of not just changing textures in a game but expand the existing immersion boundaries. I havent checked the game with it yet but even the idea is awesome! Thanks a lot!
How long did it take you to create that and what is the knowledge you'd say a newbie needs to start creating such content? Is it "just" changing some lines of code in a textfile or how do you do that?
Looking forward to see more like that.
sp0ckrates  [author] Jun 20, 2016 @ 3:58pm
You're welcome
woody759 Jun 20, 2016 @ 3:34pm
I'll give it a go.Thanks.

Trooper: We're currently uploading mods to Nexus only for those who donate, as it takes time to upload them and maintain them on both sites. So we can't upload them all.
i Jun 18, 2016 @ 4:24am
Oh ok thanks. Unfortunately my Skyrim is pirated, (I have the game on steam, I play the pirated one for dlcs) so I cannot install your mods :( Can you upload those to Nexus?
sp0ckrates  [author] Jun 18, 2016 @ 3:46am
Trooper: Yes you should. If you don't, let me know and I'll add it.
i Jun 18, 2016 @ 3:18am
What about helmetless perks? If I install it, can I get the Nightingale and DB Armor bonus without hood?
sp0ckrates  [author] Jun 5, 2016 @ 6:14am
You're welcome

Aippersbachj: It checks to see what keywords are used for the armor.
monsterhart Jun 4, 2016 @ 1:21pm
Brilliantly done, I love mods that are designed to enhance the game in a logical and balanced way.
EXT1NCT10N Jun 4, 2016 @ 12:04pm
I really enjoy the concept of this mod but how does it work with other armor mods such as the witcher mods that are black and light armor. Does the same concept still apply?
