The Creation Engine can be a bit finicky sometimes, especially with mods. That is why I am hoping that the "lacking technology" that Peter Hines suggested is why TES VI is so far away is a big upgrade to the engine (Fallout 4 only really uses a small upgrade).

I just spent several hours trying to figure out which mod is conflicting. I first check your mod, then check three others. I make sure that they don't cause a crash before exiting the game. I then check three more. I went on and did this a few times, and eventually came across the trio that caused the crash. I removed each of the three until I found which one made it crash.

Then, I removed all of the mods except for yours and the one that made the problem. Tried it. Didn't crash. I re-checked all of the ones that I had had checked before plus a few extras (not checking the other weight mod), still no crashes.

I then check every mod except for the other weight mod. Try it and get a significant lack of crashing. Restart. Try it with the same setup. Still no crashing.

TL;DR: Skyrim is PMSing and I have no idea what the problem is.

Then I would suggest trying with either my mod or the other one and with the perk mods disabled. That way we can be sure if that is the problem or not and if it is I can add that to the description here and on the Nexus Mod page.

Both times were with new saves.

Maybe? Are you applying them to a new save or an existing one?

Turns out the new carry weight addon also causes me to crash whenever I'm using the magic menu. It could be that something to do with changing the carry weight from stamina level up might conflict with one of my perk mods?

Sorry that it has taken this long to reply, but I had to help a family mkember prepare for a trip away. If you added that one afterwards, then I am unsure what is causing the problem. I will get back to if and when and figiure it out.

That carry weight addon was added after removing this one, I wasn't using both at the same time.

Er, several, not a few.

Thank you. Looking at that list I see you have a mod that raises the Stamina buff to carryweight. Mine does the same (except to 10 whereas the othern mod raises it to 20). They might possiblyt be conflicting it with each other. I will check the fiule structure of my mod and get back to you in a few minutes. I might have advice on a workaround until I can patch my mod next week.

That should be all of the mods that I have.

Well, I am unsure what is happening, so I cannot try to replicate it and then try to fix it. It could be something like a conflict between my mod and another mod that you are using. So, I need to know what other mods you are using as I would like to try and fix the problem.

I have about thirty, but the only one that seems to cause any issues is this one.

I am not sure how that happened since I only changed the numbers that effect carry weight and Skyrim Creation Kit has no means to change the UI (you need SKSE to do that and this mod does not use SKSE). Can you please provide more information about your setup (including other mods) so I can try and replcate the problem when I get my computer fixed this week or next week?

This mod caused me to crash every time I clicked on "all" or "powers" in the magic section. It also removed the "active affects" button.
