No worries. I understand the reasons why you brought it up, and it's definitely a legitimate concern to bring up to people. I only hope to remedy the concerns that people have over this mod with my own personal testimony that I haven't had any problems with it regarding VAC bans over the many months that I've ever used it.

Seriously, if anyone would be VAC banned by now for using this Reshade, I would be. lol At that point I'd delete this item from the Workshop immediately.

Which ENB were you using that got you banned?

This isn't an ENB, by the way. It's a ReShade framework which typically creates a post-processing effect on top of the game instead of injecting itself directly into the game engine and alters it like an ENB does. Though the lines can be a bit blurry depending on the intentions of the framework, there's a difference between the two.

Proof is that I've got VAC banned and everyone naturally think that I used some sort of cheat...
It's the ENB people! It injects into the game making it look like a cheat to the VAC system.
Trust me, if you want your account safe, don't install ENB.

I haven't been VAC banned for using this, and I've been using it every time I play L4D2 for over a year and a half/two years. I wouldn't keep this Workshop page available if there'd be a risk (that I know of) to anyone's account.

It goes without saying that if you don't trust this mod, then by all means don't use it. I haven't had any VAC problems using it, so... that's why this Workshop page still exists after almost 2 years.

Too bad this will get you banned.

lol to all the dumb people that say this is a bad mod because it crashes or lowers FPS. please note that this mod is not for craptops or low spec PCs. get a graphics card first ;)

@Crystal Crescent My guess is that it might be your computer. Can't tell for sure, though. A couple of people mentioned say that this mod reduces their framerate. I've got a pretty good computer, and my framerate is over 60fps with this reshade enabled without it dropping at all.
